Do what you're told!
I was just playing a game as a commander on ns_nothing, where it's very easy to get behind the command center and just tear it to shreds. We had four resource nozzles secured, working on the fifth, all heavily guarded with a nice flow of resources. Just started to upgrade weapons and what not, but the aliens kept trying to take out the command center. A few times I jumped out to kill the **obscenity** and then I had enough. I told MULTIPLE people to build a behind the command center, but none of them did so. What does this mean? The alien was able to waltz in, run past the dozen or so other sentries we had, and chomp on the command center without any one else even noticing the strange noises eminating from that area. Now, I woulda jumped out to build it myself, but there were atleast four guys with the name NSPlayer, and one of them took the CC when I got out to kill a Skulk (thankfully he jumped right back out). But, because the two or three people I told to build the sentry were too busy disobeying orders and just charging into piles of alien OC's, the CC was destroyed...and this people is why TEAMWORK is some thing that should be used more OFTEN. Do what you're told, and victory shall be yours! (Well, as long as the commander isn't a **obscenity** and knows what he's doing).

The commander often knows better than the marines do, so its vital to do what the commander tells you to do. And its not fun for either the commander or the marines to play if noone listens to eachother.
at least 1/4 of my games were ruined due to this said fact.
Hey at least I got a backup CC if the old one is gone.

not only that but the commander knows the map if the marine is lost
