γεινομαι/geinomai = passive of gignomai and means to be born (or to beget) γενεη/gene-e (second e is long) = birth γενομην/genomen -> aor. of gignomai/γιγνομαι = to "become"
all come from the same stem "Geno/γενω" - become, get, grow, born etc all from that.
and yeah gyn is different, like "gynecology".
so basically: yes.
PS - that certain part of the female's anatomy is not related to this word. That is a coincidence of english.

Meh. I still love the androgynous little chibi-boi. hi, id like to repeat what buggy already pointed out: any euro who hasnt heard this song has propably spent the last 4 months in somewhere away from the world.
i also want to share with you the fact that i once spent 5 hours sitting on this laptop, headphones on, listening to that song. on repeat.
I got through maybe 1/2 of it before my eyes started to bleed.
I mean, honestly, there was a sequence wehre they flashed the chibbi one frame left, then 3-4 right, then 1 left, 3-4 right. It hurt to look at.
and talk about predictable... though I couldn't understand a word, there wasn't a single note that didn't follow the exact same scale - over, and over, and over.
