What is so bad with the VET icon anyway? Really it is just an icon and some veterans actually did playtesting... ..And now you are giving them a nice reward for their help in balancing NS. Really you cant automatically blame a vet for something that some "veterans" did. So PLEASE before you start to blame/flame/kick/ban/(insert random hostile action here) random veterans, look at how they play and behave and let their actions&words to jugde them...
anyway thank god that we dont have such "vet hate" here in europe, well not atleast with the same scale... My vet-sign is even rarely noticed (although some people had a weird idea of "vetstack" if other team had 2 more vets than the other) I wonder if it is becouse we have more vets here in EU? I played few days in random US server and almost all the time I was the only vet in the server... In EU it is rather rare to be the only vet in the server
Giving icons for the best clans could be a good idea also... it could bring more life to the "almost-dead" clanscene... But dont forget Europe...

I said it once, I'll say it again.
They cleaned out the vets with the icons. The ppl who still have there vet icons usually are worthy of having them. They kicked out the worthless fake vets, so quit nagging.
