This is my response to all the stories on the internet and news. Not so much to the people in this forum, b/c whats been previously said in this thread has thankfully not yet degenerated into quite the caliber of the insane/stupid responses/debates elsewhere.
meh as i continue to surf the wonderful internet news sites I keep finding all these stories, all the same from about 4 differnt groups, ie. christians, muslims, hindus etc
All of them have their own news stories, forum discussions, blogs, etc competing over such things as their god/s actions or inactions were casued (with regards to the tsunami) X group of people who where hit in the disaster b/c they did/did not do Y something that conflicts with Xs religion.
wth people... oh wait i forgot... god/s is on everyones side, and only their relgion is the right one, and if you dont believe in MY religion which is better than yours even though mine has been around alot less than yours and blablablabla your afterlife or life beyond death is going to suck if you dont believe in mine even though you were raised in a totaly differnt culture than me etc......
IM RIGHT AND YOUR WRONG!!! LOOK AT WHAT MY GOD/S WERE FORCED TO DO!! ITS YOUR FAULT SO HE/THEY SENT A MESSAGE TO EARTH THUS PROVING YOUR WRONG!!!
I feel like im playing cs all over again.... Just with older players. Now people obviosuly wont just come right out as bluntly as the all caps but the message is just the same none the less. One "peaceful" blames disaster on the other "peacful" religion. *sigh Everyone is just as guilty as the next.
The people want to know what casued the earthquake? Ill let everyone in on a little secret. With the help of the prestigeous British Geological Survey <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

wow look at that. As terribly tragic as the tsunami was and as much as I could hope to bring all the lost loved ones back to everyone, well crap happens sometimes. Real life has both its ups and downs.
People need to stop holding themeslves up with any percieved intangible grievences against their differences in theological optinion and start looking on ways to actually affect what happened and how to prevent such disaster from happening or on ways to limit the deathtoll or another earthquake. Something that will actualy have an impact on say... reality.
