KFS, it's a bigger job than you can imagine, even now. Due to my stepdad being out on tour for the majority of my littlest sister's early childhood, I got to be essentially a surrogate Dad. You will grow to hate life, then remember that even after all the burpings and tantrums and diapers, you only get a couple years before 'love you daddy' turns into 'I hate you and want you to die!!!' when you tell 'em they can't go out with three guys after 1am.
So very glad I don't plan to have any of my own.
In any case, remember to change the oil every week or so and buff lightly with a dry chamois for best lustre after a wash.
