<div class="IPBDescription">Post his name here.</div> So that if we see one of them on a server, we have them command. As it is, we're picking commanders blind.

For ease, I will continually edit this post so they're all in one place, alphabetically. The number after the dash is the number of votes that Comm has gotten here. Blank indicates 1. Click on a name to do a GameTiger server search.

    Yes out of 10,000 possible players you will meet... post the good commanders here.. just in case you RANDOMLY enter a server they are playing on.

    There are only 500 servers or so, and the majority of them suck. I don't know about you, but I regularly run into the same people over and over, and I've seen dozens of forum posters in game already.

    I've played against Arsen before, and I ended up quitting because the marines were going to win no matter what I did.

    I have my regular server... but you have to realize .. making a list of good commanders isnt going to be very useful.

    There has been talk however of an ingame rating system from a main server. Aka... voting up a players ranking while in game.. and it carries over. People can see the approval rating.

    Not sure if it will be instituted... but untill then... listing all the commanders just seems silly.

    Yeah, I run into the same people a lot too!

    I think blah, and Destro have been the best commanders I've been in game with of yet.

    1. There are way less than 10,000 players.
    2. I routinely play with people I've played with before.
    3. <span style='color:RED'>I will play nice</span>
    4. There are several programs that let you search for specific players.
    5. It's better than nothing.

    ok... first off voris.

    About 3,000 to 4,000 ns players on at any one time... you dont think everyone plays ALL DAY do you? So that number is actually higer.. perhaps 6 to 7 k.... even could go 8 if you are really trying.

    Second I do too... but those are people you play with at your regular servers.... I doubt you are going to regocnize one guy out of all the names that will be posted here. And just happen to run into him on one of the random 400 servers.

    Third... If your trying to be insulting ... you have no basis, and by trying to degrade others you only serve to make yourself look like a twit. Name calling should be left on the playground.

    Four ... yes agreed... but are you really going to go play on an unknonw server because 1 guy you heard was good is there?

    Five.... Like I said.. there is debate about instituting a commander rating system.... which i would say is much better than random names on a post that will quickly fall from the pages.

    Which is less than 10000. At the moment, there are 1477 players on 494 servers.

    I don't really have regular servers. I pick a server with a good number of players and a low ping. I don't even look at the names.

    That was the tone of my original post... I was not trying to degrade you. Im not going to sit here and get into a **obscenity** contest with you. Keep it on NS. By the way... I really don't car about my spelling on a board on the internet with people I don't know and never see. This isn't a Harvard admission application.

    10 thousand was embellished for a reason. To simply convey the chances of finding one person in a crowd of thousands.

    Don't assume anything... as the old saying goes, if you know it.

    I don't take personal issues on this board... but if you would like to judge others go to a site deticated to it, this is a gaming board.

    I would love to know good commanders... but im not going to copy down a list and post it on the side of my computer. Im sure there are many others who feel that way.

    Anyways... my last post on the matter.

    Im never going to be a good commander , I played the Command & Conquer series all the way through but it is nothing like facing a human group .

    Me , I just go Rambo-style and I do it good too .

    Best Marine game -EVER- and I just got back from it. I feel sorry for my friend CJ who was on the Alien team. Man I love shotties lol!

    Commander watched over me big time as I solo'ed building up some turrets at the Alien's hive. It was on NS Nothing, built the new base in the Generator Room I believe, buhahaah lol.

    Took on about 8 skulks (1 at a time) and took out a fade, phew. Good commander + a good night = good game!

    I give him MAD PROPS!
    Hopefully i'll run into him again, hehe.

    People say im a good commander usually, but in my personal opinion, when im not commanding, i would have to recommend egc:. Us3r and PlagueBearer from the PT group so far.

    Actually, last time I checked, over 47.000 people had atleast tried NS once. There should probably be closer to 50.000 unique WON id's that have played NS by now, if not more.

    I don't know it that proves how many active players NS has, but i'm pretty certain it's over 20.000

    I'm a excellent Commander however I'm so much better out in the field(Escpilly with the John Woe, Anti-Fade Reflexes, Nothing a Commander loves to see more than two fades running at the base and a single LMG armed Marine putting them both down, then picking up a HMG with 70 rounds left and polishing off two more <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> , oh that was a Good Day)

    I use to command myself, and was a good one I guess. But I got tired of doing it all the time..I missed being on the frontlines heheh.

    Well...I command and I try to stay in a only a couple of servers...so I have a normal base of good players that I know about. Of my servers one is an aussie server so...ping isn't super...and I am trying to find another one or two good size ones that don't suffer from player max lag. Cornos in space was doing good last night till it crashed for a bit. Besides those to....Voogro.com is a good one I try and get into as well.

    i suppose if you find a good commander out there...try and remember the server he was in...we try and have only a few regular ones...makes it easier
