If your in Dulston, the mall to the south west is probaly THE biggest safehouse in the game so far. 2x2 blocks of mall space, each block contains at least 10 people each. Helped barricaded all the entrances with construction skill.
Man, my cop is really doing well. I have a bucket of ammo for shotty and my three pistols (with which I have 55% hit rate). I killed two zombies today, and I just picked up the scout building-hop ability. Really saves AP, that one. Oh yeah, I found and killed a zombie with a flak jacket the other day. How did a zombie get that item? Was he just a cop who had one who died, or is there something going on that I don't know about?

Cops are a much better choice than Privates; the 100XP each instead of 75/150 actually saves you XP in the long run; plus the extra ammo is not much of a boon.
Ok, first off some general info: I got confirmed by one of the moderators that the number of players in a building does NOT affect the search chances.
secondly: Damn, DNA extracting is fine. One of my test chars has gained 70 xp shortly after this nights reset, 25 by healing other people, the rest by tagging zombies. Since I had 60 xp left over, I descided to go combat and took basic firearms. The char has already surpassed my primary character and I guess I stick with him.
He is curently at Rhodenbank and I plan on getting shotgun and pistol training, which I should get within the week at this rate when I don't waste too much AP on searching.
I have a question about shopping skills... are thy worth the xp? what about the free run skill? How does it work? can I chose to enter the buildings or do I walk from building to building automatically? Because I need to be on the streets to tag zombies ...
The Free Running is awesome for barricades. You can go into a building next to the baricaded one and freerun right in instead of attacking the barricade or something. And yes, free running does automatically place you inside buildings.

We have one or two PKers inside Oram Walk. I'm wondering whether these are seperate accounts of certain zombies who want to flush us out. If so, its highly against the rules of the game.
I don't know why they keep PKing in (as in PKing allies). It gives half exp, so no-one's going to do it for exp when zombies are around; the only time it's going to happen is when screwups play, or if an enemy wants to cheat and weaken the opposition with a fake account, like 'norn said.
It's understandable or other MMOGs, where PvAI could get dull, but this whole game is about PvP, really.

I think it's a cool and realistic touch to have PKing in. Because in real life, i'm sure there'd be groups of humans roaming around killing eachother.
