Really great work!!
The only thing I'm missing is a small line next to each map, telling exactly how long a siege turret can fire.
1) The colour blind thing. I agree that it's not a tremendous difficulty since most people should know the difference between the shape of a hive and a vent, but if you could use a more "blood" red for the vents it would make them easier to pick out (especially if you've just printed them out on a B&W printer )
2) On NS_Eclipse, you've missed the vent connecting The Keyhole and The Horseshoe
3) On NS_Bast, there's a pair of vent entrances above "Aft Starboard Corridor" that come out on the elevator shaft to "Docking Bay 1"
Hey-hey, its Bytor of Tribes . I wonder how many more Tribes peeps are lurking around. Great work on the maps BTW, most useful they will be.
Heya Spamurai ... there's a grassroots following from the Tribes community. PJ setup a #naturalselection room on irc.dynamix.com and he's using it as a classroom for "idealogical instruction" ... preaching the virtues of NS to the non-believers.
I used to play Tribes 2 a lot Still do on occasion, just not as much.
Here's a small version of an overhead view I made of Bast a couple weeks ago. It has hive, starting comm center, and resource node locations and I've single hatched the vents. Only thing that it's missing now is weld locations, which I might get around to soon. This and the rest of my maps (all official ones except Tanith right now) can be found here. Any criticism and suggestions are welcome.
[edit]Ok, for some reason it didn't attach the file, so just head on over to the site and it'll be there.[/edit]
Hey all ... I made an update to my maps. First, I was missing a vent on Eclipse. The vent was there, but not colored in red. Thanks to the person that pointed this out via email. (I deleted the email and don't remember the name.)
Second, all maps have weld point markings now, except Eclipse, which has no weld points. Thanks go to PJ for adding those for me.

Apparently the name was removed by mistake.

Cool! I don't think it really matters that much, everyone calls it no-name now... but thanks, I wondered how someone could forget to name a hive. How did you find this out?
Are you sure the other hive (next to Mother Interface) didn't used to be called that? Seems odd that the hive the furthest from the Mother Interface would be called the Mother Hive.
I think I'll leave it as the "unnamed hive" since that's what it's come to be known as, and if I give it a name that doesn't show up on the actual play screen, it will only confuse new players, and they are the ones that need the maps most.
If they ever re-name the hive, I'll update the map.
Oh btw, PLEASE PLEASE PRETTY PLEASE, make this sticky, advertise it, and put it on the download section of the official site. I tried searching for these maps but I ended up drawing them on a huge piece of paper while sitting in the comm chair on an empty server. This way I can print many copies and hand them out to my friends on a LAN, instead of hanging a huge drawing on the wall
To you old school Tribes players: Heh, I used to play Tribes on a 56k, on an american server, and I live in Iceland... imagine the horrid ping there... still it was fun tho, Tribes1 was the COOLEST, awesome fun to play the original Rollercoaster map on a lan even with only 4 ppl. Tribes2 however... a "fine" example of the producers screwing a good thing up by forcing the devs to release too early. Rot in hell, Sierra.
