<div class="IPBDescription">Fixes?</div>I accidentally scratched my Dell 3007WFP 30" monitor a bit today. The scratch isn't extremely noticeable, but with bright colors behind it, it's definitely there. So far from googling around it seems like people have tried CD repair kits, some kind of product call Displex, and Mr. Clean magic eraser pads.
Since I'd rather not make this any worse, and I don't trust the general internet populace to give me good information. I'm wondering if anyone here has attempted to fix an LCD screen before. Lay solutions/experiences on me here.

Have you thought of contacting Dell?

Sorry THEM, you're SOL on the scratch dude.
I'm guessing half the problem of an LCD scratch is the dirt that gets in it, and I'm guess the pad is way better at getting that out than a microfiber cloth and water.
Its a conspiracy. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wow.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":0" border="0" alt="wow.gif" />
