<div class="IPBDescription">with teasers ;)</div>So, there used to be a webcomic thread some time back, but unfortunately it did not contain any teasers on what to expect and its also prolly outdated by now.
Lets make up some rules, cause they are always fun:
1: One comic per post.
2: Post must contain teaser comic and link to the comics webpage.
3: Teasers should stand out on their own.
4: Please mark comics that might contain adult content accordingly
5: Feel free to post the big ones (vgc, penny-arcade, ctrlaltdel, licd, lfg etc) but also show some love for newer ones.

<a href="http://harkavagrant.com/" target="_blank">Kate Beatons "Hark, A Vagrant"</a> is probably the overall best one, I even bought her book when it was first released.

<a href="http://www.lucid-tv.com/008.html" target="_blank">Lucid TV</a> is tied with Dr. McNinja for "funniest comic about doctors." The humor is about as black as you can possibly get, and the suave retro art style is fun to look at, at least once you get a little bit into the archives (the art isn't so hot for a while). In fact, the entire comic improves as you get later in to it. I had real trouble choosing just one to show everyone.
gone with the blastwave
doesn't undate that often but it's pure gold (slightly adult)

Quips about religion, sinning and the such.

<a href="http://www.girlgeniusonline.com/comic.php?date=20021104" target="_blank">Girl Genius</a>. Fun art, fun characters, fun story. Steam Punk adventures.
Personally I can't stand 'random' humour, so PBF, dinosaur comics, etc etc are all of no interest to me. I prefer to have a running plot, but even that isn't necessary. Just the entire "olo I R random and make no sense, therefore am funny" is not interesting to me. so some one else post some other types of comics.
True, I just don't like posting something from the middle of a story <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />
Specially as awesome as that joke is, no one will get it <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />

Probably. :/
Do you think they will like a gun that fires <a href="http://www.girlgeniusonline.com/comic.php?date=20081015" target="_blank">sporks?</a>
Yes, but it was more of a "dump all your ######" thread than a handpicking of the ones we really like and think other people might also enjoy rather than just people with the same taste.
The prequel films make far, far more sense if you imagine that the characters are a bunch of crazy RPG players.

I found this Baldur's gate 2 comic after searching for various BG2 tribute on the internet to satisfy my BG2 itch after finishing the game.
You can find the whole comic (so far) here: <a href="http://baldursgatecomic.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html" target="_blank">http://baldursgatecomic.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html</a>
It's cronicles the story of the main char and all the chars you meet in the game with some fiction, very recommendable but you chew trough it very fast <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />

Looking for Group. Started only as a MMORPG satire, now satires EVERYTHING.

Drowtales.
One of the prettiest and well done comics out there. Has a bit of an anime fetish at times, and the between chapter parts can be either funny or annoying depending on your taste, but overall an amazingly rich world with excellent artwork. Be careful, the clan names are a little hard to remember.
YE GODS drow tales has changed!
I seriously need to try and read through the backlog again. I never manage to actually get through the entire thing (it is friken huge)
out of curiosity, what was the drama for LFG?
<a href="http://www.undefined.net/1/0/" target="_blank"><img src="http://www.undefined.net/1/0/0/1.gif" border="0" class="linked-image" /></a>
Nuff said...
The whole war thing, for one.
However, "having a plot that isn't a punch line every single comic" isn't the same as "drama"
CAD's "OLO BABBIE! OLO MISCARRIAGE!" is silly drama. And the guy that does it is a twit. But I still read CAD, and I still find periodic strips amusing (however he is the perfect example of "random isn't funny")
hmmm
no one has said SP yet, so here:
<a href="http://www.somethingpositive.net/sp12192001.shtml" target="_blank"><img src="http://www.somethingpositive.net/sp12192001.gif" border="0" class="linked-image" /></a>
More proof that a comedy comic can have plot/drama and not suck.
Ever since xylon attacked that city which I can't remember the name of and can't be bothered checking (the one he's in now) the storyline has gone from light and funny to dark and "serious", with occassional comic relief. It might have worked if the comic had always been like it. As it is, it just feels forced and inconsistent, like the author had a mid-comic crisis and decided he wasn't being meaningful enough and had to kick up the drama.

F@NBOY$ is my favorite gaming comic after Penny Arcade, although the best strips usually aren't about gaming. The art's pretty awesome and the sense of humor is not only funny but different; it's not a lot of sarcastic stuff, or very dark humor, or ultraviolent jokes or sitcom humor or anything like that. It has some hilarious jokes, basically, that you really don't see in webcomics. Clicking on the comic will take you to ~200 comics in, where the art starts to get good and the writing is better, but if you start from the beginning there's some good stuff (as long as you want to read through some not so good stuff).
