It looks a bit to familiar with other Guns you know. What i liked about the NS1 LMG was that it got an outstanding Design and it was totally fitting the Style of the Game.
The new one looks more like a casual killer gun that you find in any other Game. But we'll see how it will really look like.

I suppose a MG with a bullpup style would make sense in a close quarters combat area. Of course, it still still be accurate enough to hit aliens from afar. With that said, please take a look at the tavor. xD
