Ahhhhh<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
They just said that there will not be a midnight release.
Anyway, I can't wait to check this out tomorrow! My brother and I will both be messing around in it, so we'll be doing the online bit as well.
This may be a silly question, but is a form of chat enabled in the test's "multiplayer?" I can't wait to geek out with other random testers as we wander those dark halls <3
Also, am I correct in guessing that we should NOT assume any guns we are given will function as they would in-game? I'm going to estimate that we probably won't be seeing very balanced rate of fire/spread/clip size/whatever in the test, so people should do their best not to freak out when they shoot the guns for the first time.
edit: What sort of file size should we be expecting?
I assume that if there is multiplayer in the test then they will give us a dedicated server program too... this would help them get a head start on ensuring that it can run on server hardware and configurations. I hope so b/c even if it is just an engine test I will have a Tier 1 dedicated server online right away!

The former is pretty much the entire point of the test.
As a programmer and designer I know what will I face with. So be cool, be sure that we ll get much more fun from this. Also be sure that we gonna make our high demands from the engine bravely.
This is so beautiful, Not only Engine or Game but also this OPEN PROCESS and fast Weekly Responses.
Thank you UnknownWorlds.
PS: Would you able to inform how can we import our maps? Is that possible now? :) And still I need Siege range with top view, may be by CC view. :)
ERROR REPORTING: Are you accepting error reports from everyone or a specific group(s)? If for everyone will there be a specific place error report and to attach DxDiag?

Sadly there will be no dedicated servers with the initial release. Just listen servers that anyone can run.

Very much looking forward to this. Thanks for the (unexpected) Thursday update! That's two Thursdays in a row... be careful about setting expectations. ;)
WORNING NS COMMUNITY THIS IS NOT A DRILL... FOR REAL THIS TIME :D I do hope I wont hit any problems starting it on a windows 7 64bit version. otherwise am crazy enough to format :D
PS Flayra said "We're not sure when it will be on Steam but not until it's quite close to v1.0 release (30 days or so). " so could we expect the game in the upcoming 2 months ( 30 days = 60 days UWE time ) ?

It ran fine on my windows 7, 64bit so that won't be a problem. This is an engine test though, so if do experience bugs, please let us know! As for the steam thing, it's still not "on steam" yet, it just needs it to run right now. No release date can be inferred from this, sorry :)
got it ( release date thing ), I am sure as hell will help with bug tracking its a good thing you made it on getsatisfaction as I allready have an account there :D ohh and one more thing is atmospheric light there in this release?

And now this poetry ends,
