Have you considered writing a 'stress tool' that just has like 16-32 fake clients join your local LAN game server and walk around (simulating player movement etc via network connections), shoot and do other basic things?
Then you can have a high load server to debug/profile without having to ask for real world performance from people running servers, which is I assume much harder to diagnose than being able to breakpoint during a server run loop :)

<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->Btw aeroripper and others: new Fade blink _will_ have more air control. Right now you can only go forward (last minute bug)<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

I'm guessing better air control now? what about momentum for his movement? blink feels forced now, it doesn't naturally flow or smooth at all. when in blink state speed should be increased more as well, it feels same speed as sprinting marine.
has the delay in attacking been fixed as well? when fade leaves blink state, their is a delay between his attacks.
edit
are you giving air control only to the fade? why not all the aliens, for example skulks which movement is limited. skill based movement should be given to all aliens since they need to be most agile.

I wonder if the gorge bile-bomb will hurt marines also... perhaps the gorge has to get into a sitting posture first, like a bear, + delay in doing so, a gorge-mortar mode? Reminds me of empires mod artillery lol.

Because you do move that .2 faster? Plus you should be with a group not going rambo. It's a great idea, stops marines from running around killing alien ###### while they spawn 4 times to kill a group.

Please don't put in the slower sprint until pustules are in or at least a better way for marines to deal with infestation. The flamethrower is far too weak against infestation at the moment. But I do agree that would be a good feature in the future.
Ideally sprint should work so that if an alien catches a sprinting marine, the alien should have a strong advantage. If it worked like this, then sprinting in alien territory would be a bad idea anyway. No need to disable abilities.
1 on 1, that is already the case. A single marine trying to sprint away from a single skulk is going to die.
It's in squads that sprint becomes an effective combat tool, allowing marines to take a few hits then run behind enemy lines (to spread the incoming damage around the squad), or escape the gas clouds quicker, or dash past a group of hydras to draw their fire.
Sprint is especially invaluable when you're leaving your flashlight on to play fade-bait for your shotgun-weilding buddies hiding around the corner. It's not very effective if you don't make it back to them before you die. :P

Infestation has stuck pretty well. It's hard to say but everyone immediately knows what it is. I'd rather see a name like "Bloom" or "Growth" over Croach. Too bad Creep is already used in a similar game...

aliens also need momentum!!!

Also, another way to look at those numbers:
Walking = 100%, sprinting = 120%, sprinting on infestation = 104%
It's in squads that sprint becomes an effective combat tool, allowing marines to take a few hits then run behind enemy lines (to spread the incoming damage around the squad), or escape the gas clouds quicker, or dash past a group of hydras to draw their fire.
