Not impressed. Slightly depressed that he makes it seem it's gonna be mindblowing to people. Even more that it actually is, to some of the people you get to see in media...

Meh.
I didn't watch it all because I got tired of hearing his voice, but this guy blames everything on America, more specifically he used the words "... this insurgency that's been unleashed upon your people...".
Empathy is cool and all, but we're not the ones who have brainwashed these barbarians into suicide-bombing weddings. I don't remember Paul Revere riding into a school with a keg of gunpowder, blowing it up to kill three British troops.
He's hinging way too much on the Iraq thing as a parallel for all the actions in the Middle East which is a complete fallacy. If oil was our motivation for Iraq, what was our motivation for Afghanistan? All the rare earths that were discovered only a few years ago that we haven't even begun to exploit?
When the collective cult of Islam actually decides to pull its head out of its ass and convince 90% of its followers that a woman having an education isn't really a good reason to stone her to death, I'll try to muster up the energy to give a ######.
The one thing that annoyed me the most is he also kept stressing "the leaders that the Chinese have installed and bribed to get what they want while you get nothing"... the Iranian Shah was the West's tool in the Middle East. The Iranian people overthrew him and installed their own guy: Ayatollah Khomeini, a ruthless ###### who's done terrible things to the country and its people and has been waging a campaign against Israel just because they're jews and directed the Sepah e Pasdaran, the state-run terrorist wing, to campaign against the United States, because they're an ally of Israel.
So you know what, ###### them. You want me to empathize with these people (gory, featuring exploded heads)? Yeah, those aren't foreign forces, or terrorists, or whatever - they're their own countrymen, some were apparently even known by the soldiers, who were protesting against the brutal regime they live under, that was installed not by the West, but by... dun dun dun... the people their own ######bag religion leveraged into a position of ultimate power.
I didn't watch it all because I got tired of hearing his voice, but this guy blames everything on America, more specifically he used the words "... this insurgency that's been unleashed upon your people...".

And thus you fail.
If you watch all the way through, he points out several instances where he uses a tidbit and in America we know better and understand it's fringe movement that they would take as characterizing all of America. He's intentionally providing you with a very narrow view on things because that's what they would have. It's an experiment on if you can try to grasp how wildly different their view on the whole situation is not because of their situation but because they don't understand the whole situation, and frankly neither do you.
It's not a blame game, it's him painting the picture as they might see it given their limited scope and you seeing things and feeling things as they would.
