It's just a suggestion i don't know neither it's possibility nor how to do it. It's just whenever i or some other people trying to rescue a phase gate or base, we usualy see several skulk, fade or onos or all :) zerging the phase gate or infantry portal so my idea is for a reasonable time(idk 10sec~) give phase gate the abilty of discharge electricity of course commander presses the button. That way maybe marines don't die inside phasegate or spawn killed.
Tracking device is a dart pistol can be bought from armory as a secondary weapon so you need to sacriface your pistol to use it or it can be something like GL add-on.
As alien side, removing these darts will be skulks job since they can bite hell of anything. For a small amount of health(like 10 or 15) exchange of course(half of his ass is gone!).

Yeee! i want that for eggs, aliens always have been spawn killed.
Give aliens the ability to explode every marine who touch a alien egg or structure!
So many sugestions about marines, whats about aliens?????
As alien eggs i want to see alien eggs at ceiling walls since they should be sticky and skulks can stick to walls that way mostly they won't be in sight i think and would be more confusing.
Also marines has more handicaps like power node like if they dont have a ip they wont respawn. Aliens doesnt need portals or power.
let me get this straight before hand: You want to take the reward for killing the enemy and his forward base away from the aliens?

Except the PG is the tech designed to help marines quickly move between bases to defend them. Even on an 8v8 on summit, you won't have enough players to defend all your expansions all of the time. You need PGs to hold two or more tech nodes and if you can't rely on marines being able to go through them without instantly dying, you've diminished their usefulness heavily.
Sorry i didnt mean to be elitist or anything, i really didnt o.0. I thought it was a simple solution that isnt very hard to do. You dont need super med pack aiming skills or anything.. just spam S (medpack key) on the phasegate where the marines will appear. When the first marine appears, nanoshield him as well and if he jumps around then thats a good enough distraction for the rest of your marines to get through without dying instantly.
Personally, im ok with phase gate camping. If you attack the phasegate while marines are in the room your going to get shot. Being able to camp a pg is another way of saying "hey, we killed all of you in this area already and your phasegate placement was too aggressive to allow any redundancy, so this area of the map is now ours". Not being able to camp phasegates might make them too powerful in holding positions..
Well in idea thats what should be happening when comm gives the order but in practice it's really not like that and thats not gonna happen. My own experience: I was yelling like "come back to base, base is under attack!" and some random guy was soloing a cyst in middle of nowhere(obs was destroyed too so no call back if i wont mention this prolly some ppl will say why didin't u used distress call :meh) and i had to get out of CC and shoot(am i commander or commando what!)
Anyways to launch an attack like that first, you need someone knows whats to be done and that mean someone skilled and knows whats going on if u send someone random you'll need to explain and in meantime pg will be destroyed or will be most likely %6~10 and the person you sent will be dead in 3 bites with 3-4 skulks around( 1second )which means no distraction possibility and skulks can constantly bite no stamina drain at all and while they're biting pg they also bite incoming marines so please be rational about this. I can continue but i think this should be enough to convince some people.

You can't really balance the game around players that aren't willing to teamplay. Teamplay was always a huge part of NS, and will hopefully still be in the future. One marine with a shotgun is usually enough for killing that skulk attacking your PG, if it isn't send two. If there are loads of aliens attacking the PG the marines shouldn't be going through it in the first place expecting to survive.
