I think the way a FPS would typically be implemented in the oculus is you would aim with your mouse, and look with your head. Just like in real life.
In other words, aiming and looking are decoupled actions. This sort of mechanic would probably work even better if theres the concept of aim-down-sight, where perhaps right clicking would snap the gun to your point of view, regardless of where you're aiming.

I've already seen discussions about how Oculus would not work on an MP game. Unfair advantage.
And to claim it would be getting tons of sales is an exaggeration. VR kits have always sold extremely poorly in the past, and I doubt Oculus will be any different in the long run.

I assume he means the high FoV the Oculus would need in order to work. As long as everybody else (on ordinary monitors) is granted the same FoV-privilige.

As ZycaR said, higher FPS already gives you an unfair advantage. So does better headphones or multi monitor systems. Should we lock everyone to a certain FPS and resolution so we would all be equal? And a FOV slider in the game would allow people to use the same FOV even with a normal screen.
As for sales... who knows. Most people who have tested the device say it's nothing short of amazing. Some big names have also showed support. Maybe old VR systems have been unsuccessful just because technology hasn't been ready for it and they have been awful. But it's of course possible, maybe even likely, that Oculus will fail. That remains to be seen.
However, a customer product won't come out in a long time, so I, too, doubt Rift support would boost NS2 sales that much even if it was a huge success. The device they are shipping this year is for developers, not for gamers (though I bet quite a few still buy it), nobody knows for sure when, or if, a customer product will ever be released. I bet there won't be one until late next year at the very earliest. Even if the device would be successful, it might be too late for NS2.

Combine the digital art book idea with the gameplay manual in an innovative way, and you will have something that novices and experts alike will go through.

Maybe I'd read it if the pdf is provided while the game is being downloaded. Once the game is ready to play, I don't think I'm stopping for any manual unless the game has some particular promise of providing mind bogglingly interesting gameplay.
