Power Node suggestions ..

Yeah so right now some people do not understand the meaning of the Power Nodes because they are free and they does not cost anything to build..
So my idea would be this.
Give powernodes a resource cost, Maybe 5 resources just like a battery or turret, That is a fair price and it would give the Power Nodes a bigger part in the game because they cost resources to build! If you want power in the room, Then buy the parts that is needed to repair it! 5 resources ^^ This would also balance the resouces betwen aliens and marines because aliens need to waste cysts for resources while marines get the 'cysts' for free..
And I could also see that Power Nodes could be upgraded if you research something in base so that it can get a steel cage for 10 resources each that would give it maybe 1000 more health. If you have the resources then you can upgrade the powernodes :) This would be awesome for marine expansions! It would take aliens a little longer time to bring down a base by hitting just the powernode.
Give Power Nodes a bigger part in this game if you still wants them.
Right now they just feel really boring to build because they are FREE. So what is the point of having them?
Another thing that could work would be that you have to build cyst like cables from the Power Nodes to buildings if you want them to give power, Or you could build a Power generator that you connects to the Power Core wich will give power to nearby structures.. The Power Node could stay free if the Power Supply or the cables cost resources ^^
This would give Power Nodes a damn good reason to be in the game..

I agree that making powernodes cost money would help a little bit in that it would validate the skulk biting it, but i would prefer to not reward non-stratigic play.
Darkness of a lost powernode is very short, and usually if you have the time to bite a Node down its not in a high trafic area where the marines will really care.
Ok but Khammander will have to drop healthpacks and energypacks to the alien players, right ?
