If the devs only had time to fix 1 issue for the next patch, what would you want it to be?

Even with the slight balance issues, fps slow downs, and bugs that pop up from time to time, I believe the most annoying thing for me is when the game starts and there is no comm picked. I would like to see a game where the warm up keeps going until both teams have picked a comm. Even if that isn't the exact way it goes, I would like to see something that doesn't make me wait at the first RT while everyone is still trying to join the game.

I'd +1 this
I won't hold my breath that performance or hitreg will be fixed right away next patch, but they haven't really even looked at fixing the fade problem, apart from making a few tweaks to shadowstep and blink (and nerfing vortex). It has basically been a completely ignored issue, and they should look at balancing the fade back into viability now, rather than down the line.
Making the fade relevant again will break things and increase the marines/alien win ratio and shift the balance even more in aliens favour. But it has to happen so that we have the entire scope of other balance changes that need to be made to shift the win ratio back to 50/50.
Having the fade barely relevant is also effecting the diversity in strategy. Bringing it back would stop commanders from predictably dropping onos eggs all the time, or skulks not even bothering once they hit 50 res, because the onos is the only high-level lifeform (not counting lerk, that's more mid level) that seems to matter, especially in seiging marine territory.
I won't go to details about what's wrong with the fade, as it's already been said in countless threads. If the devs want feedback on this issue, they've already had plenty, but done barely anything with it.
There coming, Bye god there coming!
Say it louder.
I believe i read somewhere that they have stats that FPS has been improving? Let me just state that its completely misleading, my fps is now rock bottom the moment theres 4~ fighting. My fps was overall ~20 in 229, it jumped up to 40~ in 230, and since then theres been a noticeable fps drop the moment combat happens with a few people... as of the last patch, i hit 3fps. Outside of combat, it doesn't matter if theres 7 lerks sporing and spitting all around me, aslong as there isn't any marines mixing it theres no fps problems, which is completely bizzare.
moar balanced maps.

My overall performance actually seems better this patch than previous, but seems far worse in end game.
I could be imagining it, but if I'm imagining any improvement, then that means I'm still at square zero.
If it does work, then wtf is happening to me? :(
Players online.
But they can't.
this.
As this is a small change Id like for the server browers also to have a proper waiting list to avoidn the "Server Full" problem
I'm calling that one thing because it's pretty much all the pathing
But if it doesn't and I actually have time to focus on the game itself, then it's indeed the early round starts.
The other suggestions I have are more gimmicks to make alien gameplay less monotonous, to open up some new strategic choices and to prevent the game from being 100% lost for aliens if they lose their second hive.

Add cyst pathfinding to that list too. Nothing more annoying than being unable to cyst through a specific doorway because the game bugged out and considers an entitiy to be blocking the cyst path and thus completely denies you expansion in one direction. (Imagine you start in the Cargo hive and can't cyst into System Waypointing and Nanogrid… gg)
