It's not a problem of damage. It's a problem of aiming. If they could hit stuff that is moving, they would do enough damage. You can make up for this a little bit by clever positioning. A marine in a triangle of hydras get hit at least from one, no matter what direction he is moving.

It's the opposite. In NS1, marines only had t-res (shared resource pool), while aliens only had p-res (separate resource pools). Gorges built structures out of their own p-res. This makes sense, since marines had the commander managing the res and buying stuff directly, while the aliens had no commander and had to save up for higher lifeforms on their own.

Yes, after 2.0. Before 2.0 gorges had a 3x bigger slice of the pie alloted to them.

Gorge on NS2 seems like a waste of your time except maybe to heal a new hive going up then go back to a skulk.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Then "urdoinitwrong". A good gorge that can move to a key forward position or vacant hive and set up a road block can really swing the game. The alien com can then support this little love spitting hippo with a shift, aliens start spawning there, other aliens can return to this base as a forward healing station, it can have a big impact.

Between build 236 and the content update near the end of the month, gorges will be getting a lot of love.<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc-->

i think its just, the gorge isnt much more the gameleader as he was in ns1. I know the respool in NS1 but 3 hydras - cant get this why only 3.
i hope so.
