Will Anything Really Change With 1.04?

<div class="IPBDescription">As far as Kharaa strategy goes...?</div> Looking at the patch changes, I don't see anything that really crippled or dramatically changed the Kharaa for 1.04

is there something I'm missing...or will I just have even <i>more</i> fun killing Marines in 1.04?

    Probably other that not having to defend processing like nobody else's business on hera I dont see any, which makes me happy. And yes we need more smilies.

    3rd hive is more important. If both teams have good players, which can be seen alot on those bigger servers, then getting 3rd hive abilities is what you need. Bile Bomd, Spore, and of course, the Onos, is the kill all. The game can go back and forth several ways with lvel 2's fighting upgraded marines with ha and hmg's I spent 3 hours in a game, and that was not fro mthe start, with a server that had only small numebrs of players leave, so it was a big coordinated battle.

    It was on Caged, so there was alot of fun playing wit hthe levles of elevation, and both sides were frantically going for the second/third hive. We finally broke the 3rd hives defense as the marines made a push for one of our hives, and well, it was a still a batle. Although, 5 onoses at the end of game kinda killed that lol. So, you need to realize on this new patchm things are more dependent on your actions. So if you go for a big skulk rush, and you die, with no effect to the marines, you could very well find yourself with a new game starting. 19 marines with lmgs, can take down a hive <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->
