Combat mod could definately help ns2 gameplay

We all know, that combat mod would bring lots of people stay playing ns2. But also we worry about ns2 being like CoD or something, as on ns1 it did.
However, i think, if combat mod would slightly let players require squad-based improvised play, i think this will also help original Natural Selection gameplay. Cos' people will learn how to work together on field, and that means that with commander it would be more organized.
And even more people want to learn aiming would stay playing ns2, not leaving with 1kill 25 death score.
How do you think?

If you are suggesting the developers add combat mode to the game, they have already said no.
What exactly are you suggesting here? Because in the combat mod there are already incentives for moving in groups. You get bonus xp for being in the vicinity whenever an enemy is taken out, and you get assist xp. Not to mention, you live longer in groups anyway.
I don't think you can give out much more tactical lessons than that with the co_maps and the combat gameplay in general.
Yeah, you're right. I also watched lots of combat mod videos and i found it kind of interesting, that it gives kind of teamplay. It's kind of difference how UWE think of combat mod(that it would ruin the team based gameplay)
I just think, with some tweaks, combat mod would definately deserve to be official, and never ruin original gameplay, like one to ns1 did. And even be more helpful for new players and somebody want to learn playing as a team
In how far does it matter whether a mode is labeled official or not. It is a mere title after all and nothing more. New players who want to play combat can do so; I do not really get your point.
Do you really think so? Do you really think Counter-Strike had millions of player as a mod? Do you think that new players who have no idea how to play would find ns2's mods? I myself cannot get your point.. it's big difference, to be shown officially on the main screen and just mentioned really small on a single server out of hundreds of servers playing original ns2.
