How can Arcs be comparable to Onos/Xeocide at all? Arcs blow up if the aliens look at them funny. It takes such a full team effort to make any kind of arc train work. Meanwhile Onos hits stomp and then they win all team fights forever.

In the context of the thread (ending games) arcs in combination with JP marines/ exos are pretty much an i-win mechanic against hive1 aliens.
Ehh... More like capitalizing on Aliens losing all their upgrades like biomass and abilities, which are linked to the # of Hives lost + Aliens not being able to recycle spent Pres like sharing your Fade with another teammate after you die.

Thanks to that, a "win button" is not needed, and In the name of the great scapegoat Asymmetry, only one team shall receive this logical treatment!
We'll just give the lacking team a band-aid mechanic / quasi nuke, since they won't be able to actually end it without someone conceding, otherwise.
