Why should I check if my keys changed? I had time tonight for one NS2 game, and it was ruined. You might not understand this as I can tell you are someone who has a lot of free time for video games. There is no reason for UWE to change the default keys in between patches, or why they couldn't have made the commander mic key the same as the default.

As ghost said, it was a bug. not really a big deal, so just calm your farm mate

I can see them fine, must be something you are doing wrong

He's talking about the options...
I was talking about the posts, so if he replying in context, then no...

It did....if you opened the options before joining a server when patch went out... If you joined a server before opening options then it set your keys to the defaults....because the key check didn't get initiated unless you open the options...which is already fixed... You still could have looked in your options, they are there for a reason, and it also said it in the news feed, right in the menu...
do people even read the changelog...especially something as big as commander binds...so...

These are the posts he was linking.... read it
These aren't the posts that the forum links me to. Looks the the forum is as buggy as the game
Also I like how IronHorse closed my last thread, then edited his post after the fact saying this problem exists "BECAUSE we tested it". Sounds like perfect sense to me!

Looks like your browser is as buggy as the game, i have no problems with it.

I'm glad you were able to understand what I wrote.
Funny how in a previous post you state not having enough time to check your key bindings tonight (which is three button presses?)... yet have time for 13 posts.
If you are still having trouble with your bindings or accessing them during a game, feel free to visit the tech support forums and make an informative post.
My thoughts on 261 are pretty positive guys! Loving the fade changes and the key bindings! Being relatively smarter than the average human, I was able to figure out the binds quickly! (haha! I kid! I kid!)
Also - I noticed a pretty big improvement to just the overall smoothness of the game. I get a stable 100 - 115 FPS late game and the big thing is a stable 90-100 while streaming with Xsplit. Input lag is pretty much gone (at least for me) and it's smooth as butter.
Why did you make the commander microphone key different by default? Thanks for a ruined game, UWE!
I'm usually there to call UWE out if they messed up or mistreated their customers, but even I think you're blowing this out of proportion. First time I went comm after the patch I noticed my mic wasn't working. Checked the options, problem solved (before the round even begun). This is a one time inconvenience and an incredibly minor issue compared to the utility rebindable comm keys provide. Let it go.
160 minute game ... best rookie training you can get!
Saying that..I've seen so many pro ppl looking for their 31-2 k/d scores..saw some lad with 45-3 .. I mean .. cmon ..pull your punches on pub servers ... like only parasite..or go commander .. or just defend certain areas..or go gorge ... on same note ..kudos to @Prommah for doing just that aswell saw him swapping teams to balance and pulled his punches so not to demoralise the new guys

Great job to everyone for all the hard work!
P.S.
Flashlight in spec mode is pretty cool too!
I am surprised you are noticing higher end game performance. For me, end game performance manages to go down no matter what I do. GPU utilization starts tanking the more entities are on the field at that point. How separate are the rendering threads from the game logic threads? They are they dedicated to teh same core or something? Max?

Not my fault no one checks their keys if they aren't what they normally were, a small bug with it not initiating the check only if you open the options menu instead of on game start, or not.

No it is not
Would be nice if we could select which of the things we want to turn off instead of all of them.
He's talking about the options...
I remeber in another thread hugh said that the uwe official servers were having difficulties

I see where this is going.
