i just can do high poly models... nothing you can use in games
• VashVash Join Date: 2002-11-12 Member: 8333Members
How high poly? It couldnt be so high that its completely unusable...i hope o_o

And yes, the stand alone complex opening song is pretty good...reminds me of the opening song for RahXephon, they have the same beat

Try this, the latest way to compile for standard half life compilers is 3000-3500 polys with good proformance. I know people who invented a way to cheat the poly limit, but 4000 is just pushing your computer to it's death.

This thread sure exploded [ in size, I mean].

Kusanagi, asking so often will only make people mad.

Vash, of course she's got episodes before you. She's Japanese. She doesn't have to wait for dubs or subs or rips. She gets it straight from the heartland.

Yes, too high-poly to be completely unusable. See earlier pages in this thread. 12k polies is a little over HL's head, as Assassin said.

Where did you get the photos of guns, Sheena? Gorgeous stuff.

I'm going to try and skin this, can't be certain what the deal is with it. If I can release it at all, dont get your hopes up but just know that i'm in the process of doing a Gits rifle.

I can't post a picture of the model but i'll just say it's dead on accurate. Trust me.

btw Wolf, the Raisen is a Airsoft gun so you could search for it easily. Runs for about $580.00 USD.
That's without shipping and handling.
• NeptalidNeptalid Join Date: 2003-01-06 Member: 11951Members
$580.00 USD, provided you find away to get it shipped from Japan to the USA, where I think that Airsoft is illegal. At the least manufacurer site says they don't ship to the US due to "gun control" laws. Did you know that in some places you can't get a Non-lethal stungun, but you can start ****ing blow peoples brains left and right out with a legally obtained firearm? Then when the police put you down, your family sues them for shooting you . Then when that happens the families of your victims will sue the gun manufacturers and retailers that were somehow connected to your purchases. THEN the smaller companies will have to stop manufacturing, since "junk guns"(saturday night special is somehow a racist term, hmmmm) are used by criminals and don't have safety features. After the California state court orders a settlement be paid to to "faulty merchandise"(to the families of those it successfully killed, but probably not those that were only wounded, btw) the same state suddenly puts the same guns on its special list of guns approved for manufacture and import. Unless you're from the "ghetto" that is......

Sorry... I don't know what came over me, maybe I accentuate human stupidity with unusual fervor.

What the hell are you talking about, I own many airsoft products. I live in california, they have airsoft fields and retailers here. You're wrong. With a Airsoft gun the laws are treated the same as if it was a real fire arm. The fees and penalties are exactly the same as it were if you had a real firearm. That is the price for having a airsoft, so all you have to do is be smart. Keep your weapons in a case, keep the magazine outside of the weapon, dont have the hammer down. Provide some proof that it's a airsoft gun (Put the bb's near it or have the manual)

Thanks Assassin, I was waiting for someone to pick up that I got the Airsoft regulation thing wrong. The first sentence or 2 is all that really matters. The rest is just half-informed ranting montage that looks good to those that don't quote actual events . Please don't think I'm an idiot YET, let this be the "WTF" stage of perplexment. Then we can begin with the healing crystals

EDIT: Btw, if you happen to see my "eXisteNz gun" thread tell me if you have any idea what I'm talking about.
