:-). In that case, I guess a congratulations message is in order.
Good to know he is well (well and sleep deprived - I have 2 boys).
RedDog if you are reading this, Congrates on the new joy to your life (if this isn't true, I blame @Mouse).
Cheers.
I know, I know! I have been extremely MIA since the NS2WC in Germany. First off, I'd like to say thanks to everyone who participated, supported, and watched the event. It was possibly one of the best experiences in my life to be apart of and I'm so glad I had the opportunity. From when I picked up my headset and went live on my first cast (ENSL Invitational Qualifer Match | Breakfast Klub vs. Gra Hunduri w/ Vindaloo co-casting) back in February of 2013; crashing the UWE office in June and meeting all the cool devs, hitting over 1 million Twitch channel views; to then casting from the ESL studio booth in Cologne - I never once thought it would go that far! A HUGE, INCREDIBLE thanks to everyone who supported me throughout my casts (as well as the all the AWESOME other casters/co-casters!). I had so much fun with you guys, it's unbelievable.
As you may have heard through rumors, my wife and I are expecting our first baby (boy!) around June 6th, so right around the corner! I almost wasn't able to go to the NS2WC because it was originally going to be scheduled April/May-ish. So I was ecstatic when Wasabi told me it was moved earlier in the year. Since I returned from Germany, I was planning to do a farewell (for now) cast on my channel and make the announcement; but I never could find time to get it together. Suddenly, in-laws were flying in from all over and staying with us, cribs needed to be built (yes, plural - cribS. I built 3 actually and wife chose the one she liked the best. I think that makes me a professional crib-builder? Call me.), a room needed to be setup, etc, etc, etc.
I am still sad that I never got to do a farewell cast, as I really miss the community and NS2. My thanks to Wasabi for constantly texting me about matches that were scheduled and for me to come on one last time. I never could do it because I was so busy with work/baby things; but I did appreciate the effort.
This community is so wonderful. Everyone I met in Germany was so fun to hang out and talk with - it's like we were all friends for a long time already. I have plans to come back to the NS2 casting scene, but probably when things calm down with the new addition to the family. Heck, Decoy suggested I cast with the baby in a bjorn in front of me. HAHA maybe I will...
I do still browse the forums occasionally to keep up to date with anything important. But again, thanks everyone. The laughs we all had together in my casts, the round ups, the rafflecasts, the crazy strats we witnessed - just so much fun.

Congrats RedDog, on the new pup. I have 2 of my own (both boys). And I only got back to gaming since the younger one turned 3. Get your sleep now, because the next 6 months = sleep deprived.
Can I be so bold as to ask forum goers to go to RedDog's twitch and donate $2 to celebrate the pup? It is sort of like a baby shower gift for Reddog for all the good times. I will do this after work.
Congrats RedDog it will be hard but in a year every thing should be simple. Only first year is hard. Much changes in your life. But every smile will atoneth every bad sleepless day. Congrats. Hope to see you casting soon.
I have met Reddog three times in just the year I have known him, which is crazy because we live so far apart. In fact we have met in three different countries too!
When I messaged him on twitch if I could co cast with him, I was nobody. I hadnt even thought about practising yet, and I hadnt done any casting. Despite this, he said yes, and I realise now how brave and generous that is. I had sat on stream a lot, but ultimately I was a stranger asking for a favour and he said yes.
He wont realise this of course, but I owe him a lot. A lot of my character development over the past year has been defined by NS2 and the casting I have watched and done. Without Reddog I know I wouldnt have the job I love, I wouldnt have been to the amazing places, and I wouldnt be spending so much of my time on something I love: casting NS2.
Appreciate it, guys! You definitely don't need to donate anything, but thanks to those of you that have already! It's going straight to diapers lol
And Ren - anytime you want to visit Vegas again, let me know! It may be a tad different the next time around. Don't know if we can roll in at 7am again after being on the strip all night!
P.S - love the idea of a gorge onesie, I'm gonna see if I can get something made...
@RedDog i will continue to check your youtube page for uploads and look forward to you randomly uploading a vid of you playing sometime in the future.
congrats and i hope your wife and baby have a healthy fast delivery!! !
@Reddog, in your absence, I've begun casting NSL matches, mostly Div 4, but it has it's following, so very fun to do.
I got a extra copy of NS2 donated from Cannon_FodderAUS that I hope to do something like a reddog's raffle during the NSL Season 4 Playoffs.
That's awesome, buddy!! Hey, Div 4 IS where it's at! I remember casting the craziest (not to mention some extremely comical!) games back in the day in div 3/4! Was a blast!

Hey, why not just continue RedDog's Raffle? I mean, keep the name as a tribute on your channel, and show a pic of RedDog everytime you do a raffle. He will still be legendary when he returns

@It's Super Effective! I just saw the vid of Schwa being banned on LK, followed by the the LK vs She-wolves game. That was awesome!! Love it. Let me know when you do the raffle cast, so I can check it out on Twitch. I am in Aus, so likely not going to catch it on the live stream. If NS2 goes on sale again, I'll get you another copy for another raffle cast, alternately, I ll gift you a copy of the Kodiak DLC (that might be more awesome).

Need to take out aggression. My buddy recently had a daughter and even that makes me rage IRL.
