    Another reason is that everyone has seen those prefabs before. Prefabs are often associated with noob mappers... SAVE YOURSELF!

    You're clearly not a noob mapper, this is a good map, just those vending machines bring it down a bit.

    Those were not pre-fabs, they were pre-fab textures only.

    anyway, onto the map:

    Those arcade games are pwn! :D I really like em. very cool.

    In all honesty though, that Wind Tunnel will probably be nothing but trouble, because its a big open area. Trouble for whom? For the aliens. With a big open area like that, and such a skinny walkway limiting the aliens' mobility, that place would be all but unstoppable as a marine turret farm. Unless I'm just really not seeing something cause of the shots darkness...

    Something else I just noticed. In your skymap, you have a picture of Earth! (You can easily make out the continent of North America). Bad bad no no! In the NS Storyline, everything has happened far far from Earth. The developers don't want anybody doing anything near earth because they want to be the ones to say how things go down there. :) That's why hera was moved off of mars and onto a far far away mars-like planet. ;) (I think)

    Turrets will not reach the walls where the aliens are roaming around, if my calculations are correct, the room is roughly the size of a small football stadium. Its nothing but trouble for the marines. They'll never get ANYTHING build in the room if the aliens are on the job inside, they only have to hold the first room, but if some skulks sneak past and go inside they will have to go spot for the seige cannons... I planned for that change.

    That texture is "planetmarine" and it came with the ns.wad -- Don't tell me its not to be used.

    im also going to down load your map, it looks like its going to be awsome and alot more player friendly then a few of the other new maps that are out, great design keep it up cant wait to play

    ^Requiem^, is that planet part of a sky box, or is it just a texture? I think someone mentioned this in another thread about your map, so I'm sure you've considered this before, but if it's not a sky box, seems to me it'll look pretty cheesy when you move around in that room and the planet doesn't move at all. It'll look like a big mural on the wall instead of an actual viewport looking out at the planet.
