Using some fancy smancy cheat, I managed to make it to about 3006 meters before my game gave up on me, so iw as curious, what have my fellow mariners explored in the deep deep (chunky) depths of the game's as of yet unpopulated regions?

I only got to around 1200m before my cyclops filled with water (experimental build). Did you find an area in the game that goes that deep, or use the terraformer? I love the deep depths that take at least a few minutes to get to the bottom.
I hugged a wall and I hit about 3200-3300m before I seem to fall off the world and cause an error. No cheats used.
I've gotten about that depth and the game crashed, I think that's the lowest you can go before running into problems. I hope these really deep areas get populated later on in dev.
I got to around 3300 before i ran into some architecture and noticed that the game seemed to have no "floor" after that (there were holes in the architecture that I could have gone down). So I didn't go any deeper. Then my Seamoth ran out of power and I realized that death was inevitable.
I am hoping there will be some very deep (~5km) caves/trenches that you can go down in the seamoth/exosuit, revealing some hidden truth. Maybe after a certain depth, all technology stops working - due to obvious interference.

Never tried with seamoth (afraid of losing it)
and wend going till I got this weird screen flip prolly due to the depths hallucination.

I then spawned a Seamoth and started going down.
I'm currently at 9540m and going.
Will update as I progress.
Making a new one and continue later. I wonder if there is a bottom...
Here you can see the how far I went down. Also at about 11:11 there is music in the game I never heard before while playing it.
