What about Hydraulics?

I was playing around in creative just trying different things with the base parts when I started thinking about how it could be fun to play around with hydraulics.
Imagine this:
Stack some multipurpose rooms on top of each other. Normally, you'd have to use ladders to get between the floors, right? Not with Hydraulics! Place a piston down, place the stack of Multipurpose rooms on top, and now at the press of the button you can move the stack instead. Connectors connected to the stack would have to de-connect and reconnect obviously, and I'm not sure some possible something like that would be in Subnautica with the current framework.
When the Cyclops docking system is released, hydraulics would make it possible to make really cool Cyclops docking/parking systems.

That sounds like a Minecraft mod description.
Minecraft's done a lot of things. I was channeling my inner Billy Mays though.
Having a base and being able to move parts around would be interesting and would allow for some extra creativity, which is what these sandbox games are supposed to be about.
Walking into an observation pod and have it lift out of the water would be pretty cool looking.
I'm not sure how they are planning on doing the Cyclops docking. Is it going to be a much bigger moonpool, or is it going to be some kind of external system?
Docking your Cyclops and having a hydraulic system slowly move it would not only look cool, but would make sure the Cyclops is safely tucked away and out of the way. Not only that, but you wouldn't have to risk damaging your base trying to dock/park it. You'd just dock it at a safer distance.
This was the original concept altho i have no idea where exactly this idea is at right now giving we've heard nothing official about it since. docking the Cyclops via corridor tubes would probly be the best idea tho since making an entire docking room (like the monpool for the seamoth) would mean it'd be GIANTZOOOOORRR, thus requiring way too much space imo.
I'll have to check that link out when I get home. For some reason Trello is blocked at work.
