Questions to more experienced xbox gamers

I'm quite new to Xbox so please don't hit me.

How do you take screenshots, and how do you upload pics into a picture frame?
And finally, does the game pause when you're typing something (such as lockers, beacons or console commands)?

double tap the guide button on your controller to bring up the record and screenshot options. Also if you have a Kinect you can use the voice commands like "xbox record that" or "xbox take a screen shot". No idea about if the game pauses or not while typing though.

Game does not pause on xbox while in debug menu or inventory. I don't know about PC. If you are in a mode requiring food/water/oxygen they seem to count down and you can be attacked while in these menus. You can press pause over the inventory if you need.

@Slackerstu I was rather thinking when I type something, because typing takes sooooo long on the xbox.

Unfortunately, typing does not pause the game. I've been attacked enough times while trying to name a beacon to know.

@Olympicwolf That's a shame, 'cause typing on the xbox is super long and difficult.

I've had this too, but I quite like that. After all, I imagine typing on a little keypad while both you and it are bobbing around in the water to be quite tricky, and it's unlikely that the local fauna are going to wait for you to finish before taking a nibble.

You can make an acount on xboxdvr. From there it's super easy to get your screenshots for your xbox one to the pc. Even without regeistration you can see/get your screenshots here. Just type in your gamertag, and voila.
