More Explorable Wreckage In The Aurora

The wreckage at the aurora crash site is awesome, but there's only one route which takes you to the generator.

Now I have read the lore, 87% of the ship was rendered uninhabitable or something like that.

I reckon, when you get the laser cutters, you can cut though doors to access more of the ship and even get to the bridge! This would be a really cool part of the game and maybe when you get to the bridge you send out a distress signal from the Aurora.

Maybe you could also find the dining or sleeping area and pick up things owned by your crew.

This would be really good for the storyline and will hopefully get Subnautica one step closer to full release!

While we may not have a crew's quarters full of cool story information (sadly), we will be getting a second explorable room in the Aurora soon. This room will have something to do with the Exosuit and its construction. We may also see some more additions to this room :)
    Hope this comment helps :)

    Thanks, that's really cool!

There is actually another route to the generator room but you're unlikely to find it on the way in unless you know what you're looking for. But when you're in the room you can travel down a tunnel that exits underneath the Aurora.

I almost never use that tunnel - usually I have a seamoth before I think about fixing the Aurora, and I like to pick up the loot along the main path in. So if I went in one way and out the other, I'd have to swim back to the seamoth.

I know but there are a lack of other rooms to explore

    Not for long!
Yup, more explorable interior area is coming for the Aurora, very soon. And it's more then just a single additional room.

Thanks for the answer, Dev! :)

I'd be happy if for now they just made it so I didn't fall through the floors on the main ramp entry and the last bit of walkway to the last damage and the cyclops energy part in the engine room.

I'm sure the Devs will tidy up the Aurora and its textures during the polishing update :)

Yes. In fact I tend to use this route more than the front door :)
