New biome messages

In experimental when you enter a new biome you haven't visited, your AI comments on it briefly. For the most part it describes the biome vaguely, but there are some humorous ones as well....

Safe Shallows - Environment: Uncharted ocean planet. Oxygen Nitrogen atmosphere. Water contamination: high.

Kelp Forest - Life on this planet grows in unusually distinct and diverse ecological biomes. Further study recommended.

Sea Treader Path - Damage to plantlife on the seafloor suggests this may be the migration path of a huge, bottom-dwelling lifeform.

Blood Kelp Zone - This ecological biome matches 7 of the 9 preconditions of being objectively creepy.

Dunes - Detecting multiple leviathan class lifeforms in the region. Are you certain whatever you're doing is worth it?

Mountains - Detecting massive energy signature in the region. Cannot identify.

Koosh Zone - Detecting volcanic activity, and several unusual electromagnetic signatures in the region. Exercise caution when diving deeper.

Mushroom Forest - The biomass in this area is dominated by plantlife. Picking up faint Alterra technology signatures.

Grand Reef - Biodiversity in the region is unusually low. Cause unknown. ((I was able to trigger this once, but somehow I haven't been able to a second time; can't remember where I was when the message triggered >< ))

Deep Grand Reef - Detecting a titanium mass somewhere in this area. Unable to confirm whether it originated on the Aurora.

I think the Blood Kelp message is my favorite so far, though the Dunes is a close second.

I can't wait to see the ones they add for the ILZ, ALZ, and Lost River.

Ooooh yesss... If the Blood Kelp zones were creepy, the Lost River should meet all nine conditions XD

I like the dunes and blood kelp zone entries.

Lol, imagine for the LR - I don't know what you're doing down there, but I recommend you cease said activity immediately and leave.

That's awesome! 'Specially the blood kelp one, it's precisely the sort of deadpan-type humour from the computer that I want so badly in the game.

I like the fact that the AI is somewhat conscious, and I love that she sometimes talks to you how a human would talk to you, whilst also supplying you with information a robot might give. "Are you certain whatever you're doing is worth it?" I imagine her saying "Unable to identify", then saying sorry afterwards. I also imagine her being extremely awkward when she doesn't know something, constantly saying things like "Well, I could find out, but, well, maybe that would take too long or... I don't know maybe I could, or I could maybe, uhh-" and then you mute her or something.

I think the Blood Kelp message is my favorite so far, though the Dunes is a close second.

I came across another one with my friend today, in experimental as well.
If you go to the mountain island and head North, I think, didn't have a compass, it goes down to ~500 meters and a message pops up describing erosion in the zone suggests that the land there used to be on the surface. I didn't get a good look, but in the distance in front of me was a long central pillar that branched off at the top into tons of tiny little circles. I think it might've been lily pad islands? I lost them after I died. If you get the Electro pulse signal from the Aurora and head into the ocean directly off from there it should be out that way.
There were tons of bone sharks and lava geysers, as well as me using the exosuit.
The bottom of the pillar was like ~500 meters and I think the lily pads were at ~250 meters? It's a massive structure once you go out, one of the mountain cave entrances faces the direction the structure and message are too
It scared me more than I had been before seeing that too whoops

That's the underwater islands. The message reads, "Erosion patterns on the landmasses suspended here suggest they once floated on the surface."
There's also one for the Jellyshroom Caves: "The conditions in this cave may support a microcosm of unique, possibly predatory lifeforms. Try to counter unanticipated threats by anticipating them." More snark from the AI

Yes! I like this talk from the AI, it's so cool when she talks like she's actually a person who's with you on this planet. If they do make her actually say these lines out loud, then maybe that will give you enough of a connection to her to care when she says "Near the planet's crust-st are the ho-hottest environments 4546B has to of-offer. Alterra did not foresee thi-this. Systems fai-i-i-ling. Procee-ee-eed with cautio-o-o-... System failure." when you enter the Lava Zone :)

Did you start a new save? They only appear the first time you visit the biome.

Recently i started a new game to be sure all the new stuff from the aurora was properly in. In order to prepare for my journey inside the ship i went to gather a diamond to make a laser cutter. Didnt take me long to find one but nothing could have prepared me for what was coming my way!

That one took me completely by surprise .... no need to say it cracked me up! Not only am i seemingly alone on this planet where every freakin thing wants to kill or eat me, but now im also so much indebted that ill go bankrupt the second im rescued!
    good God! :scream::wink:

I started whole new game and it is fine. The alterra message is cool/cruel joke. We got some bills to pay, guys :D I was like: "Come on, I am trying to survive here, not now!" :D

What does the first message mean by "water contamination - high," I wonder? Is it talking about the way the Aurora spewed chunks of titanium fragments everywhere?

    I found a new one :)

Sparse Reef - Biodiversity in this region is unusually low. Cause unknown.

Found some more :) I love finding these!
Floating Island - Picking up multiple faint energy signatures on the surface of the island.
Grassy Plateau - Short range scans suggest this grassy biome supports extensive biodiversity both above and below the surface.
