Anyone using a DS4?

Haven't played in months and now that there is controller support I thought I would give it a go. I know the game is designed to work with the XB One controller, but I have a program that let's me use a DS4 instead. However, when I load up the game and turn controller support on, the mouse glitches out and when I use the DS4 to go down through the options, when I get to the slider bars they scroll full left and I can't move them after that. And then, when I went into the game, my character is constantly spinning out of control.
Anyone else using a DS4, have this issue, and know how to fix it?

When used on a PC with an emulator it works just like the XB controller which this game is designed to use. I use the DS4 with GTA5 and it's flawless. Some of us think the DS4 is a better controller and choose to use it.
So, you're using third party software in order to use unsupported hardware. I'd wager it works for GTA because that game is on the PS4, and thus already supports the DS4.
It shouldn't matter. I bet I could go buy a generic PC controller and it would work fine. Listen, if you don't have an answer for me, move along.
@R1600Turbo As for the question, if you don't mind me asking what exactly did you set it up though, cause these things can be iffy depending on the game in question.
@dealwithitdog if his DS4 is perfectly setup as a xbox controller as things like motionjoy etc allow you to do, then this is more or so a question about xbox controller support malfunctioning.
Well, decided to give him the benefit of the doubt, so I plugged in my Xbone controller and loaded up my save. Worked perfectly. Now, I don't love the controller setup, and don't usually play with it, but it seems to be working as intended. I stand by my previous statement.
Seems unnecessarily harsh. I gave you an answer. My Xbox controller works fine, so it's not a problem with the game engine. It could be with your install of the game, your DS4, your emulator, or your PC.
I use DS4 Windows which is pretty widely used. Works great with GTA5 at the moment, wants to keep spinning to the left in Subnautica. I've also used it with success in a few other games.
It's not just spinning around. When in the options it will always move the selection to the left in whichever option menu you're in right now.
Thank you! Exactly what I was looking for.
