Generally when you buy a game for a specific platform, you're only getting it for that one platform unless it's one of those rare universal "Can be run on any OS" things. Software is another matter - when you buy say Cinema 4D or Lightwave, you're getting it for every platform it can be run on (Linux sometimes being the exception).
It would be cool if UNW offered a discount for users owning one version or the other though when buying another.

At $20? Try paying $40-55 for, let's say, Star Wars Battlefront, $50+ for the Season Pass, and then doing it again for PC / Xbox / PS4, and tell me about a bad deal... Subnautica is $12 on sale, $20 full price. It's a great deal, no matter how you slice it.
