I think that there should be a smaller version of the growbed that is in a more rectangular shape. It would only be able to hold 2 plants, but could be used in areas where space preservation is important, such as on the cyclops.
I would love a 1x1 exterior growbed. Creepvines make for good lamp posts.
Dude, that's awesome! I rue the day the devs thought that it was a good idea to make the light stick and flood lights battery powered and not able to be connected via power transmitter.
Well, there are plant pots, and also wall planters, but no square ones.
A square pot would be nice, IMO. Also gives more scannables variety.
I don't actually own subnautica and thought the grow beds were all there was. it could still be nice to have a 1x2 growbed.
Then go get it, there's a whole wet world out there for you to explore >_>
I tried playing it but I had to refund it because it ran at like 20 fps on the lowest settings. (and my computer is pretty good?)
Mine's not all that good, but manages to be tolerable enough. Everyone's been having some peformance issues with the game since the Bones update, so I'd have just gone on hiatus instead of refunding ^^
Like the Castles-Coffee update actually solved a good deal of the massive lag spikes for me that Bones introduced. Not all of them, but most. I love Subnautica enough that 20fps's really not a big deal to me personally, but I can understand if its unbearable to others.

Same. I love the Floodlight for base decoration, and every time I use one I make it a point to pop open the Feedback Tool and make a comment about it either draining much slower or just tap into nearby base power. I used the Light Stick once - just once - and that was out of curiosity. It's even less useful than the Current Generator was.

This. It'd make outdoor gardens more aesthetically pleasing and given more variety~
Maybe i'll try buying it again once the game is released or something. I'd really love to play it.

Buy it right after the March stable update hits, and switch your game to Experimental mode (daily updates). That's when they will be optimizing the game, and then you will basically be getting daily performance fixes, and you can then give feedback if you notice problem areas etc.

I wonder if buying then refunding will still qualify you for the exclusive CuteFish pet.... Since that's being implemented only for those who got the game during the EA period. Does it check to see if you own it before the 1.0 release, or just that you bought it during that period? Hmm.. Guess you can be our test subject there x3
Or as @0x6A7232 suggested, wait for the March update when they're looking into more stability and optimizations. Safest bet would be to just wait for release, if the Cute Fish doesn't interest you any.

I think for safety if it's wanted, you should still purchase the game now and wait. The other question that remains is, the Cutefish is neat, but can we eat it?
