Once we cure the disease and shut down the gun, how are you supposed to get back to the Cyclops you left back in the Active Lava Zone? I have been trying to get back up to no avail.

If you shut down the gun, it does not disable the portal I believe. You can still use it to get into the Aquarium.

Its more I can't get the Exosuit to get out of the Aquarium, so I dont know how to go back to get my Cyclops, without building another Cyclops and going back down.

Will it not go through the portal or something? Because that's how I got the Prawn in and out of the Aquarium. Worked no problem for me.

I never took my exosuit into the aquarium itself, since I wasn't sure I could get it out. If jumpjets and grappling arms don't do it, I'm afraid you're stuck. (in case you mean the forcefields came back with you inside, get out of exosuit and walk up to them)

Or I mean... he could walk trough the portal in it. That's a possibility.

    *sigh*

I can't get it out so I can go *back* out of the Aquarium to the Cyclops in the Lava Zone. So I can get my Cyclops back out. That is the thrust of my question.

Have you attempted to climb all the way back in the prawn? It's a longer way, but will work.

I'm still not sure what you're talking about. Do you mean that you can't get the Prawn out of the Aquarium the way you came in? Like through the pool? Because you can totally do that with jump jets and grappling arm. HOWEVER, going back through the Super Active Lava Zone (my own name for it) and dodging the sea dragon out there does not sound like a good time.

I'd go with what @AnomalyDetected said and just hoof it on down to your Cyclops the way you came in originally.

I have to admit that I never considered this problem, because long ago I gave up taking the Cyclops down there at all. I just pack everything I need for a base with moonpool into the Prawn and hike down there. That way I can mine up some Kyonite and build the upgraded jump jets right then and there.

If you can't make it out of the Aquarium, you may have activated one of the other portals leading to various places from the upper level of the facility. You could use one of those to get back.

Normally you'd enter the prison in a prawn, leave via the teleport in the prawn, turn off the gun, then go back for your Cyclops in one of two ways depending where you parked it: 1) returning to the prison via the same teleporter, using the other teleporter in the pool or grappling out of the pool, then retracing your steps out to your Cyclops and driving it out the way you drove it in, 2) going back to the lost river and head down to the Cyclops and drive it back out.

Past that, I have no idea what you're asking.

It's a pretty awkward sequence overall, not sure if they plan to change it. In the final version we'll likely (unless you're a packrat) need to go back to ILZ anyway, so maybe it's fine.

    1. You can get out of the PCF aquarium with jumpjets alone. First jump on the highest side pillars, then back on the high platform, then out. There is also a hidden 2nd warpgate in the aquarium.
    2. You can pass the Sea Dragon and any other leviathan if you swim into his claws instead his mouth and use medkits or just stasis him. Only panic will kill you for sure.
    3. Swim back through portals to the surface and rebuild the Prawn. Don't rebuild the Cyclops.

There is also a small teleporter that can take you out of the aquarium and back to the active lava zone facility.

My issue is I haven't upgraded the jump jets, so once I get out of water, the prawn refuses to go up to back to the area where you jump into the pool. However, I worked around it by desperately fleeing via seaglide to my cyclops, backtracked through ILZ and LR to head to the QEP gate and walked in to get my prawn. Took a bit of doing but was done, appreciate the help.

Just a heads-up, there is a ramp you can climb in the prawn.

Also worth noting - you can take the seamoth into the aquarium without crushing it once you've activated the portal to the surface.

There's also the portal behind the wall across from the surface portal. It leads to just above the Aquarium, the way you came in.
