<div class="IPBDescription">something i dont know if someone has men</div> has anybody ever considerd a marine rush with the objective to destroye the enemys only first res tower and then killing the gorge if there is one?
it would be really great , because res income would slow down and to get just 1 more rt they would need 13 for gorge and 22 for rt makes 35 res and that without any rt and that means it will take years to get the res...

however, since all Kharra players start with 10 res, it wouldn't take _that_ long.
You could always just drop a shottie and two and go straight for the hive, passing up the RT...
Ideally they run on 3 gorges at start with 3 defs under hive (making a direct rush very hard).
You hit their perm gorge as he goes to build the 1st RT, then take down the 1st RT aswell
It'll slow them down by an insane amount of time (good 5-10 mins at a guess).

Archiving, datacore on hera would be quicker to hit the res tower if you didnt want to run in (in the case of datacore) have a nice hallway as a killzone

What I was saying is that if the aliens are going to let you walk around in their first hive and attack stuff, shooting the hive doesn't take that much longer, it's easier to hit, and it will *definately* win you the game. Not that you would lose anyway against that team. Remember, there are ultimate goals and proximate goals. The ultimate goal is to kill their hive, so why bother with the res if you're there anyway.
Of course, on a map like caged, getting stability and pumping station are way easier than assaulting the hive, so if you can't get in to the hive, killing res is still an option. Oh and RP's DON'T heal. Many gorges forget this making them easy to take out on a 2nd run.

notice also you can knife a res node relatively safely while another person guards, but at a hive the person guarding you is gona have troulbe killin the skulk chomping at you and being healed at 20hp per tick
Thats if im not doing a jp rush.
