    Which is one good thing to do with a relative newbie on your team, if you're up for an intense map against a stacked team. 'Stand here. Don't move. Make sure this door stays shut until we have the RP to overgrow it.' They do more good standing there and keeping those Marines out than they would face-to-face against same Marines, trying to chomp 'em down.

    This is semi-off topic and kind of a followup to Phoenix's post, but if the welder does kill the chamber thru the door in shipping tunnel, in CAL wouldn't that violate the rule against damaging stuff though thin textures or since the door isn't just a texture is it okay. Or if your not killing it thru the door then just delete my post.

    Rules like that can just get very silly and should probably be avoided, but i assume he does mean damaging it through the door. Although i have seen someone attempt and fail to weld the chamber, so i am unsure if this would be possible. However, grenade blast damage goes right through even thick walls by default, and would definately kill the chamber. What would CAL say to that eh?

    I think Talesin's point is with FF on (in tournament mode) every time an alien jumped over their own chambers or squeezed thru WOLs (which happens a bizillion times in each game) you'd be taking damage.
