You would get crap....
Hehe, I hate country, I hate rap, I hate Pop
Rock is my music of choice, its the only music you can really drive to IMO, or at least drive fast to (and in my case, wrecklessly)
Edit: Linkin Park is great, I wanted to go see them in the summer sanatarium tour, but Im poor.....
I second this entire post, Relic is a wise old man.
I actually like EVERY type of music in every genre, except Country so far.
I love Rock, Techno, Classical, some Neo-Classical, "some" rap is ok just as long as it has meaning and isnt talking about their ho's and cars, orchestra, some music from the 50's and such (at least i think 50's), Rave, some pop is cool, yes, some is ok, alternative...etc etc etc.

Chester Bennigton is in the middle sitting, the the left is Hahn, then to the right, Mike Shinoda, then Phoenix and Rob(?) behind them.
Linkin Park breaks the mold a bit when it comes to rock, which is a reason i like them, along with the fact that they dont pollute their music with obscenities.
-edit- How many people actually listened to it ? ;p
I did...I thought it wasn't Linkin Park's best song...It seems too generic for them.
But it gets a bit catchy.....
I'm usually a Linkin Park fan but I always keep below the radar about my Linkin Park liking...

Listen to one song and you've heard them all.
But I don't think so........

I'm just assuming (<i>assuming, mind you!</i>) that since many big-name rock/metal artists were itchin' to contribute to the Reanimated album that this group actually has something that others don't. They have a distinct sound that others have attempted, but Linkin Park succeeds where basically every other similar group has failed.
I'm not a huge fan so I don't know their names (<i>...looking back at Sirus' post and pic...</i>), but the first singer, Chester, does actually have a good singing talent for this type of music. Sure, there's some typical screaming in some songs, but he has a distinct sound of his own that melds well with both the style of music and with Mike's backing vocals.
The first song I really heard was "In The End", and I was immediately hooked (<i>my brother bought the cd when it first came out</i>). I listened to the rest of the album, and every song has its own distinct tone and feel, despite Merk's comment of "Listen to one song and you've heard them all".
I agree to a very small extent with that comment as 'Somewhere I Belong' is a fairly typical Linkin Park track, but that's because they're continuing working with a formula that works. The sound is their own, so why change it?
I'm a fan of all of their songs, I can't think of one I don't really like.
When i mean, "break of the mold", I say they are one of the best rock groups that blends rap/rock/and an electronica style of music. Compare them to Metallica and Slipknot, your
"My December" is actually a song that can't be classified as rock or rap, which goes to show that, Linkin Park best performs when taking a wide genre of music and blending it.
Don't get me wrong, I don't expect everyone to like Linkin Park, but some people are partially biased thinking of them as a "typical" rock band, but Linkin Park is very distinct from every other band, and no, not just Chester's voice ;p .
Songs to listen to : My December, Part of Me, High Voltage, Pushing me away, One Step Closer, and In the End.
They are ALL very different songs from each other, which shows that Linkin Park is much more diverse than your typical rock band.

<span style='color:purple'>* Nemesis Zero goes out to purge Linkin Park and all record of them.</span>
Really, I didn't mind them, even enjoyed one or two of their songs, but this is just bad.
That being said, I love their studio stuff because they can take 100 takes and FINALLY get him to not sound like a cat being castrated with a rusty pair of garden shears. I will probably pick up the new albumn when it comes out.
I've never seen them "live" (<i>somehow, I doubt they'd come to Newfoundland, Canada <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--></i>), but I saw a recorded outdoor live show yesterday.
I agree - he sounds <i>horrible</i> live. I retract my previous statement of "...but he has a distinct sound of his own that melds well with both the style of music and with Mike's backing vocals." It seems the mixing techies and editors give his voice the quality it has on the albums. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
