The 1.1 Changes Discussion Thread

<div class="IPBDescription">As MonsE said to make a new thread...</div> I, for one, am excited about some of the changes the venerable Flayra & co. are making to 1.1. The Onos Devour ability does seem ripped from WC3, but given how long NS has been in development, Flayra probably just needed the added extra visual clue on how to implement it.
So far, the best ones look to be the sensory upgrades. Imagine a wall of cloaked OD's...those poor marines. The electrified turret upgrade looks to eliminate blind-spots yet still let the aliens kill the TF. The new RSC model looks to change everything, as the marines will be forced to actually work to hold their RT's. The muzzleflash/Skulk teeth don't bother me so much...mainly because I use a custom MF and I just serve as a kamikaze skulk. The updated hitboxes look good.
All in all, let's salute a round to Flayra & Co., and the good MonsE for getting readyroom.org back up....and, if frontpage news is to be believed, getting hitched. Congrats all!

the teleportation abilities evens the odds and allows for quick response
Turrets producing smoke when firing? whilst being VERY cool to see, due to the turret farming that goes on sometimes, wont that cause a possible lag issue?
Hehe...Electrified Skulk effects should be nice to watch...GO electric TF!
