Anyway, I'v re-sized the back part and moved the handle (does anyone really want a trigger cause it means more polygons <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo--> ), I'v made the clip more currved and fixed a few probelms you cant see. Oh and to cut polygons, I cut one nozzle out and stratched the other to replace it (the skinner can just make it appear as if there are two). Short of actually making every single indent and the egal stick out it's done!

Ok, iv got less then 7 days before I go on holiday!, then I'v got easter revision courses and then exams.
So, I'm gonna add more detailed stuff to it this weekend and then leave it on the forum to be skinned and animated.

Well, rather than complaining, you could PM the guy the posted the screeni or you could learn to do it yourself (check out modling 101). Also, I'm off on holiday on Friday and so will be unable to finish my model when I get back Iv got exams for a month so its on hold.

bahls model suck.. rival species suck.. and their sounddesigner should get castrated and hanged up high.. i think this doods never read any of the warhammer books... if so they must know how the weapons work... the bolter in rival species is nothing else than a very slow firing machinegun.. in warhammer a bolter is described as a nearly recoilless weapon that fires rocket propelled explosive bolts.. the same for all other bolt weapons.. looks like they have designed the weapons and effects out of their minds... never looked in one of the databooks or novels.. just a bunch of doods who liked the model..and wh40k pictures around...wow..this pictures are cool..lets make a mod.. the sound of the weapons are ugly..the chainsword is sweet... the cybots too... but i dont really have a wahammerish feeling playing rival species.. i hoped it was more than a team deathmatch game with some capture the flag variants..
i tell u something... the rival doods wasnt not able toaccomplish that mod in the deadline they have set up for them self... thats why they have released that piece of crap.. i bet this mod takes another 3 or 4 month to get into beta stage....
this mod is just a very lil bit of coding..and lots of custom models slapped togeter... its almost like a model replacement pack for hl dm...
I noticed that, it was basiclly a modded version of TFC, run in get the object run back out, only thing is they changed the models, sounds and maps. It has potential, it wont make it tho.
Still my registerd copy of Milkshape gave up so I'm borring stuff from a friend till it works again. So lets hope I get the bolter done.
With the somewhat recent release of the <a href='http://www.rivalspecies.com' target='_blank'>Rival Spieces Public Beta</a>, there are TONNES of WarHammer models already finished for the converting. Storm bolters, chainswords, Chainaxes.. Power fists, Servo Arms, Autocannons, Shuriken Catipults (Heh I know, Eldar.. blech) flamers, heavy flamers.. Las cannons.. Bolt Pistol, Bolters, Heavy bolters.. Also the Terminator armour <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
It's a playground for the WarHammer 40k fanatic who also enjoys converting models. Also all the models have marine arms already.. So would just be a matter of skinning them. Personally Blood Angels armour is my favourite (Heh how can one tell? <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->) but The black Templar defaults are very nice too.
The Chaos gear doesn't really fit in, especially since Chaos focuses on the fight vs the Imperium of Man...

Heavy Armour: Terminator with Autocannon Light Armour: Normal Space Marine armour with Storm Bolter
For Knife:
Heavy Armour: Terminator with Powerfist Light Armour: Normal armour with Chainsword/combat knife
For Gren.Launch:
Heavy Armour: Terminator with Heavy Flamer Light Armour: Normal Armour with Light Flamer
Hmmm.. Not sure for the shotgun though.. Maybe a Las Cannon? I dunno..

Ok 1stly I increased the polys to 420 so add the curve at the back.
