<div class="IPBDescription">Savage Gashyrr Wasp</div> Ok then boys and girls the model is finally finished. The pack on my site contains the following:
Drone model - In HLMV some of the naimations look a bit off but they're the correct speed in game I assure you
V_model - Its pretty crummy but its there, for some reason you cant decompile some of the v_model animations so I had to use idle2 for some animations
New Sprites - Just a darkened version of the regular spit
New Sounds - Full replacements for the player and weapons sounds
Release Shot - Official Release shot
Readme - credits and what not
Anyway I made some minor tweaks to the animation but 98% of it is all Pvt. Hudson so give him a round of applause.

IN GAME attack animation now works for the first time in human history!!!! So will all the other 3 aliens classes when they come out in teh near future. ( fade / hydra is essentially a biped, so the in game attack animation works in teh first place. )

well, this is something that puzzles me too. i'm not really sure if it has anything to do with biped skeleton.
the problem is that the very unusually fast movement for the head and claws in game is actually the upper body part of the idle animation. And i found out that there is something really weird going on with the upper body idle animation WITH ALL NS MODELS. it doens't matter what i do to slow that part down, to change the number of frames, to edit the QC files, it just doesn't work, it will always display the upper body movement with that ridiculous speed.
if u check out the converted Aliens model, look at the skulk / runner 's idle animation, it also has this problem, it's head moves very very fast in idle state. ( check it out in game, not in HLMV, since HLMV never correctly display IN GAME animation speed. )
in this drone's case, at first, i was planning on doing no idle animations ( not to make the model move at all ) to cure this problem. But then, i found out that it 's not a really bad problem for a drone, because u see when drone builds stuff, ( which he does most of the time anyway ), the game calls for idle animation if he doesn't move when he builds. With this speed of movement for upper body ( head and claws ), it actually looks like that the drone has a build animation. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
So i decide to keep it.

T2K -> click on Aliens (left) then Click on Zerg Drone, a pop-up will apear with a image, description, and stats, at the bottom right of the popup, there will be a "download" link...
Editor321 -> click on Gorge (left) scroll down to "Download Zerg Drone"...sign into fileplanet, and pick the approperiate server and such...
Angelfire -> Click on the Link that says Download Drone...
T2K has a large databse
Editor321 has no space limit
Angelfire has a space, and download limit... which is why there are mirrors (like T2K and Editor321)
