edit: For anyone interested in seeing how the map <i>really</i> looks, that being: prettier, sharper and alot dam crispier, click on these links for .bmp format versions of the latest screens: (just fixed the links)
-added the 'stagnant' water texture, gives the area an alienated look from the rest of the RR -moved the green lighting around until i got the desired look. -fixed the 'join aliens' texture. It now works. -added a small red light in the 'pit' so you can just about see the abyss.
i had my first Allocblock:full error today, i am so proud. the solution? delete the "join marines" area and start again. heh. i was going to have it really cool, but its abit square now. <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->

Lovely. I really like the architecture.
I don't particularly like the mix of red and blue light, though. What you want is colours that compliment each other, but provide sufficient contrast. Color schemes like orange and red work well, I find. With bright white light_spots, of course. That always makes it look nice ^_^

- added broken door to the alien area. - added some illusionary infestation textures to the hole you fall through to join aliens - added some "guide arrows" to the start of the ready room - re-designed marine join area (ill show you that later)
