Personally, the animations sort of...suck, yeah. The model is pretty off from a real SC zergling (the 1998 game) not ghost but the original. It was kind of...an insectoid walking skeleton with very large claws. Yeah... It seems a bit too meaty for a zergling as well. AND what happened to the SCYTHES ON THE BACK?! Now it's just two shrimpy little claws, who's gonna be scared of that?! You telling me 2 shrimpy 1 inch claws are gonna tear down a Command Center(From StarCraft)?! It also had a tail...a pretty long one. I'll try to give you a reference pic if I can. But if you have SC watch the brood war intro movie to see what I mean. Also, the skin is a bit strange, the Zergling seemed alot...smoother(From SC).
The animations r pretty good they need to be faster cause he liked moved to noraml movemnts with 1 walkie thingie (LOL)So just make it a bit faster which i can do simply with a bit of qc tinkering and it would be great

It is already released. Look 2 posts up from your post.
I just played with the skin, and I love it.
It's the best skulk skin/model I have ever seen. Ownage!
Now I only need the Ultralisk and Mutalisk <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

<!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> looks like good work from here.. all the bad points have been said and resaid so i'll just say that i really like the concept of the animations they really look like the zergling from the top view. The new skin is waaay better makes it look cooler. The model is pretty good too <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> .

the only differace of zerglings is 2 clawed dorsal apendages to a sythe. zergling have not changed hardly at all. there is no variation. people were posting false bilzzard images and spreading misinformation about what zerglings look like. ive said enough on this topic already.
I was looking at the animations and was thinking it would look better if it ran more like the gorge. Obviously not that slow but the way it's feet lands and such.
Plus more of the body could move while it ran. Right now it is stiff.
I just tried this model in game. It looks great. If you're thinking about installing this but have your doubts because of a negative comment you read in this thread, here's what you should do. Disregard what those people have said, they are talking out their behinds. The animations are great and bang on. It's hard to find things to improve. Hitboxes aren't really that much of a problem either, which I was surprised by. I usually aim for the centre of mass anyway. Great job guys. But you should probably make your own release thread, psycho. Your excellent skin may become overlooked by some.
Hopefully the animations will be improved in the next version.
In HLMV, pause the RUN animation at frame 10. The Zerglings legs are above his head, the tail is facing the ground and his front claws are also above his head. This is a RUN animation too. In fram 11, his back legs move a GREAT distance down, his tail changes to a 45 degree angle, and his front claws are touching the ground. That all occurs in 1 frame.
The running animation are terrible. All that happens is his front legs go up and his back legs go up, both at the same times. Also his front claws touch his knees in frame 5, while his head doesnt even go down.
This isn't just in HLMV too, it does look bad in game. Especially since players jump a lot, which looks really retarded in this model. The back legs always go over it's head.

I'm still using it in game now.
Especially the jump :O !

Wish I knew how to do this stuff myself, maybe I'll learn this summer, eh?
So, starcraft pack nearing completion? So far all the models are beautiful, can't wait for the entire thing.
