I remember reading this thread and thinking: "This'll never happen to me." ::pauses to weep:: Boy was I ever wrong. Last night I dreamt I was playing NS with my friends in nancy. I was a fade and rushed up the ramp into the marine base, spewing acid rockets. I finally took out of of my friends on the marine side, picked up his grenade launcher and took out their whole base with it. Do I need help?
dude, i dreamed NS once.... i was a LA marine (well, i looked like a SC marine cuz i have all the current SC models...) and was backed into a corner and was taking out skulks like crazy. then my lmg jammed so i threw it at another skulk (somehow killing it) and i remember being real **** at the comm cuz he didn't give me ammo or a hmg. i took out my knife and started knifing strange buildings (NS looking but wasn't sure what they were) and then i awoke. when i got up, my mind was still on NS and i jumped up and looked around for my knife cuz i thought i dropped it. it was weird. i decided to hibernate until 1.1 comes out after that lol.
i... eep.... im still creeped out. maybe because i woke up like 2 hours ago like this,
i was commanding a decent marine team on caged, we were relocated underneath the cargo bay hive, and they had fades that knocked out all of our outposts, we were on the last stand... i never saw a fade thank god, but somehow some creature spit acid tht knocked out the lights. they had killed our IP and every other marine. i was alone in the CC. did i mention this was 1.1, and caged has knock-outable lighting. it was pitch black.
i was in the CC, and i had to "use" the arms lab because it has a personal radar, (it was a button that looked like motion tracking but only worked from a certain radius around the arms lab) and i could see about 6 blue dots closing in on my position, (they were aliens) but they killed that too, so i couldnt see at all. i got out, and looked in the vent to viaduct, but it was so dark i could see like the alien from AvP2, it was all white and scary, and there was this slug thing followed by 3 skulks, (i instantly thought of a scorpian that hovars without wings) and they all attacked me, but i could feel the slug thing eating away at my back and left shoulder and i tried to scream but my lungs wouldnt fill up with any air while the skulks were there, i was so scared i couldnt breath, and then i woke up in a cold sweat....

I had a dream..... that one day aliens and marines could live in a state of mutual harmony -- no more killing, no more bloody battles and no more aliens giving up their seats to marines on public transport - we wan't equality and we want it now!!
P.S. I consider this forum to be racist as it is themed in a marine style - therefore, does it neglect the views of aliens - they are people too!! (although the term "people" may be incorrect!!)

I had a dream of winning a NS game in caged once........ it was very real....... after it I was like wow that was some high quality graphics I got in my head! (because it was real life looking!)

After playing ns for four hours i decided to take a nap. I had this dream that i was a marine and i was getting swarmed by skulks. I ran out of lmg and pistol ammo, and had a skulk left. So, i go to pull out my knife and *gasp* I didn't have one. I ended up punching hte skulk until it stopped moving and then choked it to death.
I dunno about you, but my dreams never make any sense. I'm sure NS has been in parts of my dreams like the time a marine was jumping on a trampoline while I was eating donuts dazing out at a technicolor sky...but my dreams are pretty wacked out. I've only had a few ones that had real people and real life applications to it. Perhaps i'm just weird...
a few days ago my roommate was giving some kind of stupid reggea party or something (the d*mb*ss didnt even invite enough chicitas...) So I called my sister and asked if I could sleep at her place, her bf wasnt at home and I was too lazy too make my own bed so i just went sleeping next to her (dont be thinking too much here <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> )
anyways, I had this very very odd dream about me being in some kind of club wich reminded me of starwars in a weird way, Everywhere were aliens and very hot chicitas dancing and talking, I walked up to the bar, asked for a beer and got some kind of green soda. This old wise skulk yoda guy was sitting next to me and started talkin to me about a lot of stuff that didnt make any sense at all, we started looking at the girls while the skulk dude started talking about how he likes his female raw, I answered "I like my female raw aswell", then all the aliens started laughing at me and suddenly all the lights went off.
I started to hear toilet flushes everywhere and the lights went back on, but now i was in some kind of basement with a eating table infront of me, the skulk dude was sitting their like he was king arthur at his round table, there was this really big cooking pan in the middle of the table wich smelled like chicken, he asked me to sit down, gave me a plate with food out of the pan and started eating himself. When I wanted to eat I saw this gorge building a movement chamber and dissapeared when the movement chamber was built, the skulk guy said "rtfm ffs" and proceeded with eating, I started eating my food wich smelled looked and tasted like chicken, Halfway I thanked him for the great meal, he gave me a picture of a very very sweet girl and said, "this is chrissy" he grabbed his knife and took a piece of meat out of the pan and said "u want her thigh? U should try it its very sweet"
Well I was like OMG WTH!!!! I wanted to spit everything out and just when I was ready to spit I sorta woke up and spit in my sisters hair... Then when I tried to wake her up she put her hands in her hair and started spreading all my slime over her hair... she was like "huh whats that sticking to my hands", I was like "damn its this late? i better go"

Just recently, I had a dream where I went into a mine shaft, only to be greeted by an Onos. He was ****, and he started talking in this voice and said some weird stuff about teeth and aliens. Then I yelled Commander gimme jetpack and HMG! and it was dropped on the Onos, so he had guns in his mouth and was about to open fire, when someone behind him welded him to death. I was like HAHAHA but then I fell into a cookie. Weird dream, it was, I don't want to be having that one again.
I had this HUGE, like, plot-filled dream... It was crazy - it had a f***ing plot twist! One of the good guys turned out to be the bad guy! Man, it freaked me out because it was the most make-senseful dream I've ever had.
Anyway, <i>after</i> that dream I had a little NS blurb. Basically, it was a 10 second stint of me running/jumping backwards and shooting skulks. There were like 6 of them. It was on a nothing-style map, and I jumped backwards into a pit... and so did the skulks, unknowingly. Then on the way down I knifed 2 of them before we all died.
In my dream I laughed so friggin hard it half-woke me up; I eventually woke up p***ed because I hadn't recorded a demo ;P
I dreamt that I was sitting in my room while listening to some music, when I heard a strange sound in my garage. I muttered to myself, "It's that damned Freddy Krueger again." So I pulled out a 12-gauge shotgun out of my clothes drawer, and walked downstairs to my garage door. I opened the door quickly and saw Freddy Krueger of "Nightmare on Elm Street" fame. I instantly blew his head clean off his shoulders, causing brain tissue to splatter all over my VW golf. I then walked up to the beheaded corpse and spat on it. Then for no apparent reason, I felt a stinging sensation in my arm. I looked up at an airvent and saw a skulk laughing at me. I shot at it, but it ran away. So I started making rude comments about its sexual orientation.
Then I found myself on my computer, playing NS 1.1. One of the new maps was called something like "ns_elevatorshaft". The layout was self-explanatory. I spawned from the ip, picked up a jetpack, and went down the shaft where my teammates were. The server admin turned on "no-kill mode", where everyone was invincible, so that the marines could stack on each other. There was a human pyramid of about 16 marines, with me on top. Then out of nowhere, the elevator shaft's door opened, and about 15 Onii ran into the shaft. They devoured every marine except me, since I was on top. I watched the onos group sit around, digesting my fellow marines, and I could hear faint screams coming from their swollen underbellies. I did what any other marine would do. I asked an Onos if I could reach my arm down his throat and get a GL. At that point, my actions were not limited to the HL engine, as I reached inside the Onos for the weapon. I was probably halfway down its throat. I reached around his stomach, and felt some giant meatball-like object. The Onos shouted, "Don't TOUCH THAT!" I screamed and fell down into his stomach.
At that point the map exploded. I think I heard someone screaming, "OH TEH NOS~ THERE IS AN ERROR!!!" Finally, I saw Shigeru Miyamoto shoot John Carmack in the head. Don't ask me why.
Only two games that made me dream: First was the original Donkey Kong handheld form Nintendo (the 1980s orange fliptop one). DUnno why.
And then it was Tetris. During periods of extremely much tetris playing I started dreaming Tetris games, not to mention solving tetris games in my mind while I was waiting for a bus or bicycling....

I'm walking around with my squad, in an urban area, when i notice a pack of skulks. I immediately crouch, and lift my right arm palm spread, army style. all i remember.
Yeah this thread is freakin' me out tbh. That's just a game don't forget it. I play a lot of NS because I really enjoy the game but I never dream about it cuz I do remember each time I play that this isn't real. Damn, leave ur PCs sometimes and do something else, u guys seem to become addicted to the game :|

Play NS for 3 days in a row, only allowing pauses for natural needs, use phone to call for pizza.
