ekaj... that is the best mapping i have ever seen in my entire life, that is... my god, seroisly show this work to game companies, you WILL get a AWESOME job, that is so high quality... my god, the only critizsm i have is the rocks in the last pick look to bland, and i dont really like the texture... otherwise, MY GOD!
The final picture where the blue and gold lighting schemes meet doesn't realy work for me. Could you try reducing the saturation of the coloured lights where these area meet, so it clashes less?
Bloody brilliant lighting. I can barely wait to playtest this.
If I had to pick something out that I think strikes me as odd, I would say that in the first picture, everything looks too yellow/goldish. What happened to your wounderful blue lights? You could try them under the pipe to break up that whole yellowish look. <span style='color:black'>The Catcher in the Rye is a horrible book.</span>
My only concern Ekaj, is that later on the sheer complexity of your architecture will cause a lot of issues with planes, vertexes and possibly clipnodes (although it looks like theres a lot of areas to save nodes on with clip brushes without affecting bob too much)
Lookin extremely nice Ekaj. Lets just hope you can get it in good form before the deadline. Here's hoping. <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->

Man, those four first screenies are just so awe-inspiring. <!--emo&:0--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':0'><!--endemo--> I come to think about gold right away. I'd hate it if this is to far from the NS theme. It looks neither dark or gritty, I hope this is close to the marine spawn. <!--emo&???--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'><!--endemo-->
I have to agree that the rock textures and design are that interesting, especially compared to screens above it. Though it makes sense if it's supposed to be carved out by humans.

Very impressive. I think some valid points have been made about map resources and overall NS look. However, I'm willing to forgive a lot for this map - it's just beautiful.
Flipping amazing as usual Ekaj. I absolutely love pic 3, and 4, and 5, and bla bla bla <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo--> But those cave walls, I think you can do better <!--emo&;)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'><!--endemo--> But for the concern of planes and such (as you are very aware of now <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo--> I geuss its the best you can do)
WOW *drool*. Everything is awesome, you should be proud, and so should your mother.
But I do believe in constructive criticism...so here goes my little teensy suggestion...it just seems a little too bright...not much room for aliens to lurk and hide and ambush, BUT not all maps need to be that way.
Perhaps take a few lights out (maybe make them smashed in) to add some more shadows...but your work is amazing, keep it up!

[edit] HEY! I LOVE THE ROCKS! The simplest is sometimes the best [/edit]

How close is this thing to being done, eh?
you owe me new pants too!!!
nice!
My only gripe would be the over-harshness of some of the lights. I love harsh lighting, but it goes a little overboard for me in a few shots.
Other than that though, this is amazing. I love your architecture.

planes 10322/32767 206440/655340 (31.5%)
Im about 42% done the map, I should be ok.

Good luck with it!

other than that, nice job
Though i am concenred about the clean feel of this map Ekaj, it is just perfect, but will it work with the NS atmosphere?
