he's talkin about.....if u put down a structure on a bad spot, it sinks down to the bottomless pit below the map he is asking why comm chairs dont do that
I put an com chair on the elevator once and sent the elevator down. THe chair just floated in mid air. Didn't move at all. Thats the reason why they don't sink.
CC can be a pain. i was builden a map and i had a room with glass roof and sky over it and when i built the CC it stoped ontop the glass and i couldt reach it. had to totaly redo the room which took me ages cause it was all perrty with little windows and lighting ect.. lol
How could they do that ? they would have to build it first wouldnt they ?
Btw thanks for that lift tip.. gives me an idea for blocking a lift shaft that am sure will be just as illigle as the mighty comm wall lol. that hast to be the best def for seige cannon. just build cc's around it and they have a hard time eating them.
The CC can never move once it is placed, IIRC it was hardcoded because otherwise HL got all funky when people got inside it (as it has a tendancy to do ).

So why didn't they do this for other buildings? The elevator problems are nothing compared to the sinking problems, not to mention the elevator problems they already had.
