<div class="IPBDescription">But this time I thin it'll work...</div> Okay - I got my head ou of the clouds and went with a Realistic-ish design. No more ammo counters or wierd handles... So, hows this? <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

Please note: It is in .Gif format so now it's a lot more ditable than in .Jpeg, and I no longer make my images "Flashbangs". <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
Feel free to do whatever you want to improve this. And, I am open to suggestions aswell. And to think this only took me 5-minutes to draw, but then again, I say that all the time. (Yeah - I know, not much of a drawing, anyhow).
ENJOY!

Edit #2: And I do realise I put "Thin" instead of "Think", Maybe I should get more EDU-FIED?
the render is very basic, I don't have photoshop at the moment so I couldn't optimise it <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
Looking pretty damn sweet, and would fit ns well.

Seriously now, it's a nice concept, simple and neat.

The actual number of parts is based on your interpretation of the word "part":
- #3: the 'Recoil spring assembly' is made of several parts
- #8: the 'Spring cups' are 2 parts
- #16 & 16a: the 'Front and Rear sight' are 2 parts
- #23: the 'Trigger mechanism housing with ejector' is made of several parts
- #26: the 'Trigger with trigger bar' is made of several parts
- #34 the 'Locking block pin' is not found on some models
- #32 & 32a: the 'Magazine floor plate and Magazine insert' are 2 parts
- Adjustable sights have a lot of individual parts
the lower part (grip/trigger) : <img src='http://www.topglock.com/images/lower17.gif' border='0' alt='user posted image'>
the upper part (barrel/slider): <img src='http://www.topglock.com/images/g17upper.gif' border='0' alt='user posted image'>
<img src='http://www.greendevils.pl/technika_wojskowa/bron/glock/kuva12.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image'>
<img src='http://mithat83.hypermart.net/cs/images/02-glock.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image'>
as you can see is the the slider on the loadet pistol in front position. the ejection port is closed by the ,i call it rear part of the barrel., the chamber
<img src='http://www.topglock.com/images/fs6.JPG' border='0' alt='user posted image'>
first thing i do is to pull back the slider. the empty casing gets pulled out of the chamber with the extractor(the claw shaped thing that u can see right behind the ejection port).the barrel moves down on its rear side. u can see that on this pic..
<img src='http://www.dentrinity.com/NelsonChen/Collection/pistol/Glock/G18.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image'>
when the case is completly pulled out it gets ejected with a small spring...
now the slider is on its back position and the ejection port is right over the magazine..
Sid comes up with some interesting ideas, sheena's just trying to help him to understand how they work, so that he can continue to come up with interesting things, but also realistic things.
here's another nice place to understand whats going on inside a weapon when its operating.
<a href='http://people.howstuffworks.com/machine-gun2.htm' target='_blank'>http://people.howstuffworks.com/machine-gun2.htm</a> (after you check it out, click next near the bottom for more)
<img src='http://www.magloader.com/pix/ammoshotsm.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image'>
in front of the chamber you can see this shovel shaped thing connected to the barrel... this thing guides the ammo into the chamber..
so it gets over the magazine when the slider gets back..
on assault rifles its the opposite.. theres the moving part inside..

The Models - they look SO delecious! Good job! I am... Well, I'd say something about pants, but enf0rcer and coil won't let me. <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->
In other words, GOOD BLOODY JOB! Thanks again Sheena and others - I'll get cracking on some updates...
Why do I draw these, Nightcrawler?
For a number of reasons:
1.) Coming up with new concepts for firearms - and posting them online for suggestions
2.) To see if one of my firearms actually gets into a video game. (A dream come true)
3.) hey - look at Sheena. She's pretty much TEACHING me about weapons! I'm lovin' it! I appriciate that, by the way, Sheena, thanks again.
4.) Witht he more support I get - the better my concepts become - I remember MY first one... let me show you how far I have come: <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
LOOK HOW FAR I'VE COME THANKS TO SUPPORTERS LIKE YOU GUYS! <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
(One of my first "Concepts" *shudder*)
Oh, and here is the update. Better?
Edit: OUCH. Flashbang.
this one looks like a Thommy Gun/Saiga hybrid imo 0_o
So, how do you like my "Gun"? Could it work now?
....What should I call it?
