GG both teams. Well done Euros
EDIT
While it may be true that most of your team play NS1.1, you simply CAN NOT mention that or make note of it. Its just a poor show.
Take my soccer match for example. We raped this team 6-3, and then after the match they talked really loudly about how if they'd had their state rep player they would have beaten us.
It just make them look like a bunch of stupid sods, and poor sportsmen to boot

*EDIT* rgr.
But please dont generalize it to Americans. Everyone gets upset when their side loses, and wants to express them, if possible. And if I remember correctly, Europe is quite famous for their soccor hooligans as well.
*EDIT AGAIN* Maybe I've got the definition of hooligans all wrong. Are hooligans just people who go crazy during the game, winning or not? But thats still bad sportsmanship to me. (also apparent in USA)
*EDIT ONCE AGAIN* My definition of "hooligans" were in fact incorrect.
No I believe them, I think that thats probably a good reason for the US not performing as expected - I just think its incredibly poor to point that out. Its just not done. You just dont do that.
Poor sportsmanship
EDIT rgr okay maybe it shouldnt be generalized to Americans.
Everyone does get upset when their team loses, it just seems that other countries are better at containing their feelings when it comes to defeat.
Soccer hooligans dont really care who wins. They win and they pound the **** out of the opposing fans for a bit of fun and the chance for a rampage. In the eyes of most other countries to point things out like this, true or not, constitutes poor sportsmanship.
So they're being jackasses for pointing out how unfair the match was? We're not talking about "Oh dude, there was lag". This is about the experience of the players and the preperations they were able to make. And based on that this match was unbalanced. The blame should rest on US's lack of preperation and representation. But the match still wasn't fairly planned out.
i think we played an ok game against the european clans but i also think that with 1.1 out alot of the top usa clans or players have been playing that and have not been playing 1.04 at all or not enough and i think the next usa match will be more organized but yes europe play a great game

US defeated by EU Time to get our act together....
Ok, Marine01.. Where did you get such a hatred of Americans? Its a wonder that we don't get along with the rest of the world... the first thing I get to read when I get online is that American's are all unsportsmanlike. Thats just thrilling information. My description of you is a word that these forums turn into *'s... Get the picture?
I will say this though:
TeamUS got beat fair & square by TeamEU. That much is black and white... there is no debate on this point. If teamUS didn't prepare or field the best players, thats their problem. That doesn't mean that TeamUS is better or worse than EU in the long run... It just means that for that little moment, EU was better. The situation could be the same or different tommorow!
My team beat a high-ranked team in CAL recently, and the high ranked team all said "Oh, we weren't prepared." Well.. preparation is indeed a huge part of a match.. I'm sure this same exact clan would have a chance at actually beating the living **** out of us if they were "prepared" to their liking.
Anyhow, TeamUS is just acting like any naturally competitive team.. they have already assessed what they did wrong and are prepared to not make those mistakes again. All good teams do that (sometimes sub-conciously).

i was just commenting on how you said maybe next time we'll play in 1.1, and that they had almost all exclusively been playing 1.1 (which to you might seem not a big deal per se, but in terms of gameplay and strat is very hard and different to go back and forth from) that was all. If you had seen me in #teamus and on IRC (or know who i am for that matter) you would know i was rooting for both teams. sheesh kids these days pounce on anything they can gripe about.
