i need lots of mappers mappers that can do wizz shi* with entitys ive made a 5 minute sort of draft on how the map might look have a look if you want to make a part and help make a map that i hope will be a really fun 1 then just email me at vegetex@home.nl and tell me what part you want to build and if you want something chaged the allso just say. Im hoping this project will be a sharing project so no one leader!

    It could use some more rooms to be between the hallways. You can have more rooms than just hive and marine start FYI

    your both right i wanted more rooms but if anyone would take a part of the map i would really leave that up to him/her. really im just asking people to make a mini map that would only take about 2 hours give it to me and when the map is finished and compiled you could see all the different mappers work all in 1 map <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    ill say it right here, i HATE the layout.

    First of all, the hives are way to close, make it harder to take a hive, maby force the aliens to go very close to the marines base to get to a hive?

    Second the double res is to close to the marines and hive 2, make it out in the middle or away from the hives/ base so it would be more of a challange to hold it.

    Third the one res node that is at the end of a hallway would be very easy for any team to protect.

    Hmm... well, that actually looks a bit too squared for one, and those long hallways would be difficult to construct in such a way that it doesn't turn into a skulk shooting gallery. I understand that this is just a working model, but there still should be some curves/other than 90 degree angles in the building SOMEWHERE. Some of your stairstep looking areas could be turned into a pair of hallways connecting a smaller 45 degree hallway. Other than those points, which should find themselves fixed during the map creation process, I like the idea of making a multimapper map. You might want to search for some of the previous posts discussing this kind of map creation to get some tips on forming a group which will successfully complete the map.

    Not every room has to be connected using a hallway. You can connect rooms with other rooms too.

    It's.. well.. mostly hallways, which isn't going to make things particularly easy for skulks and the like.

    Getting to marine spawn as a skulk would be an absolute nightmare. It's just a long corridor down either entrance. Should you do it that way i suggest plently of ceiling cover and/or a vent leading directly into their spawn.
