Saw this in IRC and was going to post it here but someone beat me. This has really blown my mind; I can't believe how easy it is to read. So freaky <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

Amusingly, poor spelling makes it more difficult to make out what is being said in the jumbled words.
So spelling "sentence" as "sentance" might cause problems. Which means you can have horrible spelling, but you still have to know how to spell! <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

It seems to work very well for all roman character based languages, and possibly with non-roman based languages that use roman characters to phonetically spell out words..

hajishimamete, wakutashi wa..
Would be interesting to see if that made any sense to a native speaker, beyond from pure context or simplicity.
